NFL Week 4 Roundup

The NFL continues its course in this season 2023/24, and in the blink of an eye, we already have a month of action since Week 4 has just ended.

Right now, we have only two undefeated teams after 4 games played at the beginning of the season: the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. Both teams have won 2 games at home and 2 on the road to reaffirm their status as favorites to fight for the crown this season.

Likewise, some teams have shown a great level of play, such as the Dallas Cowboys (3-1), Seahawks (3-1), and Lions (3-1). Also, teams such as the Bills and Chiefs have recovered from their opening-day loss by winning their last 3 games.

Finally, the Vikings, Bengals, and Jets are still not getting back on their feet at the beginning of the season and need to wake up as soon as possible, as it will be difficult for them after that.

Let’s see what happened in the most important games of week 4 of the 2023/24 NFL season.

NFL Week 4 – Bills vs. Dolphins – Roundup

When:

Sunday, October 1 at 08:20 ET at the Highmark Stadium

Moneyline odds:

Bills -147

Dolphins +119

We had a great game at Highmark Stadium between the Bills and the Dolphins; two teams called to be protagonists and fight for the championship trophy in the next Super Bowl.

Josh Allen, the Bills’ QB, was at his best, with 21/25 pass completions for 320 yards and 4 touchdowns. Likewise, it is worth noting that the Bills were always in control of the game, as, after the first two quarters, they went to halftime with a 31-14 partial victory.

Finally, in the last two quarters, the Bills continued with a fast-paced offense to score 17 more points to secure their 48-20 victory.

Thanks to this victory, the Bills have now won their third consecutive game and lead the AFC East. The Dolphins lost for the first time this season and share the division lead with them.

Result: Bills (48) – (20) Dolphins

NFL Week 4 – Eagles vs. Commanders – Roundup

When:

Sunday, October 1 at 11:00 AM ET at the Lincoln Financial Field

Moneyline odds:

Eagles -409

Commanders +310

Another intense and exciting game was between the Eagles and the Commanders, which left an extraordinary taste in our mouths. However, after a very good game by Jalen Hurts, the Eagles managed a close victory by 34-31.

It all started with a spectacular first quarter where the teams scored 7 points each. However, in the second quarter, the Eagles only scored 3 points, while the Commanders scored 10 points to go ahead 17-10 at halftime.

In the second half, things changed completely, as the Eagles’ defense stopped the Commanders in their tracks in the third quarter, and with an 11-0 run, they could take a 21-17 lead. Then, in a give-and-take in the fourth quarter, the teams tied 31-31 at the half to play the first overtime of the season.

The Eagles finally scored a field goal in overtime to seal the 34-31 win.

Result: Eagles (34) – (31) Commanders

NFL Week 4 – 49ers vs. Cardinals – Roundup

In the first half, the 49ers took the lead with a solid offense to take a 21-10 partial victory. Then, at the start of the third quarter, the Cardinals closed within 16-21, making the game much more interesting.

However, in the final quarter, the 49ers unleashed their full offensive potential to score 14 points and hold the Cardinals at bay to seal the 35-16 victory.

With this, the 49ers added their fourth win of the season, while the Cardinals fell for the third time.
