The Packers briefly took the lead, only for Detroit to regain it, then Green Bay tied the game. In the final play, Jacob Bates nailed a game-winning field goal to seal the victory for Detroit.

This was a critical matchup for the Packers in the NFC North, as they entered the game in third place in their division, two games behind the Lions. Now, with a 9-4 record, they trail by three wins.

Although the Browns scored the first touchdown in the opening quarter, they were unable to add any more points until the final one. It wasn’tquarterback Russell Wilson’s best performance, but it was enough. With just 15 completions out of 26 attempts for 158 yards, he still managed to record the two passing touchdowns mentioned above.

One of the surprises of the week took place at SoFi Stadium, where the Los Angeles Rams secured a thrilling 44-42 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Both teams scored touchdowns in every quarter, showcasing the quality of their quarterbacks. However, despite the loss, all eyes were on Josh Allen. The California native set a new NFL record as the first player to achieve three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns in a single game. Additionally, he was not intercepted in his 37 attempts, completing 22 passes for 342 yards, plus another 82 rushing yards.

Matthew Stafford also had a stellar night, completing 23 of 30 pass attempts for 320 yards and two touchdowns, which were caught by Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. A blocked play that led to a touchdown by Hunter Long at the start of the second quarter proved to be the decisive moment that sealed the Rams’ victory. Now, with a 7-6 record, the Rams are just one game behind the Seattle Seahawks, leaders of the NFC West, and the Washington Commanders, who currently hold the final Wild Card spot.

Meanwhile, the Bills remain in a strong position with a 10-3 record. For them to lose their top spot in the AFC East, they would need to lose all their remaining games while the Miami Dolphins win all of theirs.

The Philadelphia Eagles faced more challenges than expected but ultimately secured a 22-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

The Eagles needed a fourth-quarter touchdown from Grant Calcaterra, the first of the 26-year-old tight end’s career, to overturn a deficit and claim the win. This victory improves their record to 11-2 and extends their lead in the NFC East to three games over the Washington Commanders.

It was undoubtedly a tough game for Philadelphia, as they gained more yards on the ground with Saquon Barkley (124) than through the air with Jalen Hurts (108). Hurts even managed to score a touchdown on one of his eight rushing attempts.

For the Panthers (3-9), this marks their seventh consecutive season with a losing record.
