After 6 weeks of the NFL regular season, we can point out, although it is hard to admit it, that the season has started under a common denominator: mediocrity in some teams.
We say this because so far this season, 18 teams, 56.2% of the league, have 2-4 or 3-3 records. With the Colts being in the middle of it, after their week 1 tie against Houston.
Currently, we have 3 division leaders with 3-3 records (Ravens, Buccaneers, and 49ers), while only 4 teams can boast that they have 5 wins or more in these first 6 weeks of competition (Eagles, Giants, Vikings, and Bills).
If this trend continues for the remainder of the season, we could have an unprecedented postseason with one or more teams qualifying with only 9 wins in this regular season.
