Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens – Betting Odds and Free Pick

Last Updated on October 8, 2022 12:32 am by Erwin Noguera

The emotions of the 2022-23 NFL season continue, and we have reached week 5 of the championship, where the teams have already been able to show all their weapons for this tournament, with their sights set on a single goal, the Super Bowl LVII to be played in February 2023 in Arizona.

Week after week we will see how the teams will get into the rhythm of the game, and it is where we will see which are the ones that have the caste and the power to be in the postseason.

What we can be sure of is that on Monday morning, the feisty, exciting, and always complicated AFC North will have a new team leading the standings, after the Bengals and Ravens face off on Sunday Night Football, in an NFL’s Week 5 game.

This game will be at the M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Ravens at 08:20 pm ET.

The Ravens lead the all-time series against Cincinnati with a 27-25 record, including a 17-9 mark in Baltimore. But, after sweeping them in the series in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, the Bengals got revenge in 2021 and won both games.

Why Bet on the Bengals

The Bengals have taken their AFC championship game to come from behind in this season opener, after starting with two tough 3-point losses to the Steelers and Cowboys.

Joe Burrow and his Bengals first got a good win against the Jets and last week they took away the undefeated Dolphins thanks to a good performance by the quarterback. In the last two games, Burrow has totaled 562 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions; while he has only been caught on three occasions as opposed to the 13, that he totaled in the first two weeks.

As for the defense, for the second straight game, they allowed 15 points or fewer and have only conceded more than 100 yards on the ground on one occasion. This a very important statistic against a team like the Ravens, as one of their main weapons is the rushing game.

Why Bet on the Ravens

On the other hand, this start of the season for the Ravens has been a real roller coaster going from heaven to hell in a few minutes as they blew big leads in their two losses.

In Week 2, the Ravens had a big lead over the Dolphins and their defense collapsed and allowed Miami to win the game. Then last week, we all saw them take the lead once again and the offense failed to score a single point in the second half.

This is in large part due to their defense which, while ranking among the top in fumbles recovered with 10, is the worst in the league at defending the blitz and now must measure itself against one of the best quarterbacks in the league passing the ball.

Final Betting Analysis: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

The fight for first place in the AFC North will not be characterized by a few points. We all expect it to be a touchdown fest featuring two of the best quarterbacks in the league, Jackson and Burrow.

At MyBookie.ag we can see that there is a Moneyline that favors the Baltimore Ravens at -173, while the Cincinnati Bengals start at +141.

On only one occasion have the Bengals scored less than 20 points in this season opener and, against a poor Ravens air defense it is unlikely that this will happen again.

Although the Ravens play at home and are favorites for this game, we believe they come into this week 5 with a lot of uncertainties because of the two games that have gotten out of hand.

That is why our pick is a Bengals win with a final score of 30-26.

Look for a straight win on the Moneyline Cincinnati Bengals. If you put $100 on the Bengals at +141, you’ll be looking at a $141 win with a total payout of $241.
