The Raiders suffered their sixth consecutive loss, falling to the Miami Dolphins 34-19 on Sunday, dropping their record to 2-8. Despite showing some offensive improvement under interim offensive coordinator Scott Turner, the Raiders struggled to contain the Dolphins’ balanced attack.

Despite the loss, there were some positive signs for Las Vegas, as they scored on four of seven drives and converted eight of 14 third downs. The Raiders will look to regroup and snap their losing streak as they host the Denver Broncos next Sunday.

Week 9 Review – vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Raiders once again gave a lackluster performance last weekend as they suffered a 41-24 loss against the Bengals.

Head coach Antonio Pierce made a large alteration following the loss by firing offensive coordinator Luke Getsy. The Raiders also announced that they would be parting ways with QB coach Rich Scangarello and offensive line coach James Cregg. Pierce responded to questions about his decision saying “It was time to make a change.”

Time will only tell if these changes can give the Raiders a boost in the second half of the season. Next the team will take a by week before returning to take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 11.

Week 8 Review – vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Raiders were unable to make a comeback, losing 27-20 against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The Raiders did play a close game with 228 total yards, 195 passing yards, 33 rushing yards and an average of 4.1 yards per play, however, experts are saying that if the team came together and was coached better this could have been a very winnable game. After the game on Sunday fans are calling on the Raiders to fire head coach Antonio Pierce.

With or without Pierce the Raiders will return next weekend to take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Week 7 Review – vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Raiders losing streak continued this week as they fell 20-15 against the Los Angeles Rams. During the game quarterback Aidan O’Connell suffered a thumb injury which has reportedly put him on the injury reserve for the next 4-6 weeks.

The Raiders concluded the game with 317 total yards, 195 passing yards, 122 rushing yards and an average of 4.2 yards per play.

This coming weekend the Raiders will face off against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Week 6 Review – vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Raiders faced another heavy loss this week, losing 32-13 against the Steelers. The team’s lackluster performance resulted in 275 total yards, 218 passing yards, 57 rushing yards an an average of 4.6 yards per play.

While the team tries to refocus their strategy, behind the scenes the Raiders are facing possible changes as NFL team owners have approved Tom Brady’s purchase of a minority stake in the team. The Raiders have also traded Davante Adams to the New York Jets.

This weekend the Raiders will face off against the Los Angeles Rams who have been having a worst season with only one win and four losses.

Week 5 Review – vs. Denver Broncos

The Raiders suffered a heavy defeat to the Denver Broncos in a game that ended 34-18.

Quarterback Gardner Minshew II was able to lead in passing yards and score one touchdown, but that wasn’t enough to stop coach Antonio Pierce from benching him following the Raiders’ third defeat of the season.

The Raiders are currently evaluating their team and strategy as they prepare to go up against the Pittsburgh Steelers next.

Week 4 Review – vs. Cleveland Browns

The Raiders continued their comeback and tied up their series 2-2 this weekend with a 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

While the Raiders fell behind in passing yards they did lead with 268 total yards, 152 rushing yards an an average of 4.9 yards per play. Davante Adams suffered a hamstring energy this week and has been reportedly considered week-to-week. Because of this some insiders are reporting the Raiders may be looking into a trade for Adams. Predictions are currently circling that the trade will be with the Tennessee Titans for Treylon Burks.

Regardless of the trade, the Raiders will next take on the Denver Broncos. Both teams have recently made comebacks and started a winning streak in recent weeks, meaning there will be an upset in next weeks match-up.

Week 3 Review – vs. Carolina Panthers

Just as they made a comeback the Raiders have once again suffered a loss to a team that was thought to be an easy win for them. The Carolina Panthers defeated the Raiders 36-22 this past weekend, pulling off their first win of the season.

The Panthers started the game off strong but the Raiders quickly matched their effort leading to an early 7-7 tied score. The Raiders’ efforts only seemed to last until the end of the first quarter as for the remainder of the game the Panthers kept pulling more and more ahead. The Raiders ran for 55 yards which didn’t even amount to half of the yards the Panthers ran for.

This upcoming weekend the Raiders will take on the Cleveland Browns, who are having a similar season to the Raiders.

Week 2 Review – vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Raiders made a comeback this week, winning 26-23 against the Baltimore Ravens. Not only their first win of the season this is also the Raiders first win against the Ravens in 8 years.

Davante Adams shined on the field as he led the team with 110 receiving yards and one touchdown. Tight end Brock Bowers also joined an exclusive club of being one of eight players in NFL history to record over 15 receptions in his first two career games.

The Raiders are looking to be in good shape for their next game against the Carolina Panthers who are currently 0-2.

Week 1 Review – vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Raiders’ suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers on September 8th. After a lackluster 2023 season, fans had hoped the Raiders would return in 2024 refreshed and working together as a team, unfortunately it seems like not much has changed. The team seems to be aware of their shortcomings as quarterback Gardner Minshew responded to the loss by saying “We beat ourselves”.

In the final moments of the fourth quarter a fight broke out between the Raiders cornerback Jack Jones and the Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer. Officials tried to separate the two and put an end to the conflict but as tensions continued to rise Palmer and Jones were ejected from the game.

The Raiders are hoping to come together and pull off a win against the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday who lost to the reigning champions, Kansas City Chiefs.
