Why Bet the Philadelphia Eagles

As for the Eagles, they’ve now lost two straight games but still sit with an impressive 13-3 record on the season.

The offense has struggled without Jalen Hurts at quarterback, and they’re desperately looking forward to having their star QB back as they work to lock up the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye.

All expectations at the time of writing are for Hurts to make it back for this matchup against the Giants.

He may not be needed for the entire game, though, as the Giants are likely to sit their starters for the majority of this match.

It would be beneficial for Hurts to be out there though and get some playing time before potentially sitting another week.

If the Eagles do lock up the No. 1 seed and Hurts doesn’t play in this game, he won’t have played football for over a month.

Why Bet the New York Giants

Brian Daboll has done a masterful job this season of putting his players in the best situations to succeed, and they’ve delivered time and time again.

The offense, in particular, has been teaching tape for how coaching can impact a team’s outlook any given week.

Daniel Jones has been solid this year, and Daboll has done a phenomenal job of using Jones’ strengths to the team’s advantage.

New York is now locked into a playoff spot and set to make the postseason for the first time since 2016 with a first-year head coach.

Looking ahead to Week 18, however, New York may choose to rest their starters ahead of the postseason, as they are locked into the No. 6 seed. In a “meaningless” game, it doesn’t make sense to risk injury to one of your star players, and thus, we could see Daboll choose to give his team some rest.

Final Betting Analysis: Eagles vs. Giants

The last time the Eagles faced the Giants, New York did have something to play for, but it didn’t play like it.

It was a 48-22 final that didn’t even feel that close.

Philly dominated on the ground against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

The Eagles will want to protect Hurts in anyway that they can while still winning this game handily and the Giants are the perfect team for that recipe.

Go for a win for the Eagles at -865. If you go for a win while betting $100 you could get $11.56 for a total payout of $111.56.
