New York has been grinding out victories under new head coach Brian Daboll, including a 19-16 victory against Carolina last Sunday.
Dallas (1-1) got its first victory in Week 2 when it beat the Bengals 20-17 in its first game since quarterback Dak Prescott was knocked out with a thumb injury.

Why Bet the Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are struggling with quarterback Dak Prescott out with a right thumb injury requiring surgery, in the disasterous Coyboys’ season opener.
Prescott was initially set to miss 6 to 8 weeks of the regular season, but Jerry Jones is calling for a Week 4 return against the Washington Commanders on October 2.
That means running back Ezekiel Elliott is key to the Cowboys offense, as he has 25 carries for 105 yards (4.2 yards per attempt) without finding the end zone yet this season.
The Cowboys D have been performing surprisingly well this season, allowing 18 points on 326 total yards per game.
Linebacker Micah Parsons is questionable with an illness, thankfully testing negative for COVID, but has been one of the best players on defense tied for the lead league with four sacks so far this season.
Why is Micah Parsons key to the Cowboys Defense?
Even with all of this going on, the Cowboys could force a surprise win with a strong running game and a defense that steps up to shut down the Giants.
Why Bet the Giants
The Giants are going to have to run the football for a strong offensive showing since Daniel Jones is not a top rated quarterback and has been having challenges as the Giants starting QB.
Saquon Barkley has 39 rushing attempts for 236 yards (6.1 yards per carry) and a rushing touchdown, as well as nine carries for 46 yards (5.1 yards per reception). The Giants have leaned in on Barkley so far this season, he’s tied for fourth in the NFL for rushing attempts and leads the league in rushing yards.Â
Meanwhile, the Giants D have been showing a solid performance in their early regular season games, giving up 18 points on 325 total yards per game.
They need to force more turnovers as they have yet to grab an interception and recovered a pair of fumbles through the first two games.Â
If Barkley can produce and the Giants Defense can shut down the Cowboys Offense then the Giants can squeak out a close home field win.
Free Cowboys at Giants Betting Pick
Dallas’ offense are averaging just 11.5 points per game, while New York is scoring 20 points per game coming into this match.
Having Micah Parsons, a key to the Cowboy’s Defense, is potentially limited awith an illness could have a huge impact, and they’re already without Dak Prescott offensively.
To be fair, Daniel Jones has been playing well, with three touchdowns and a single interception this season.
All signs are pointing towards the Giants being able to win against the Cowboys at home.
The Giants are considered a one-point home favorite and should be able to win, improving to 3-0.
Given this MNF showdown is going to be a ground game, I’d look for a straight bet on the Giants to take the W at home. Betting the spread just feel too risky for our bankroll with two very unpredictable line ups.
