Things went well for the returning champions in the first week, as the Kansas City Chiefs managed to take a win and showcase a pretty strong offense to start their season well.
Now, the team will be hosting the Cincinnati Bengals, who come up from a loss in their first clash and should be trying to pick up the pace, but things are not pointing to be going their way as they are known for being slow to kick up the pace.
Now, with the Chiefs racking up on momentum and the Bengals being known as slow starters, this could be a golden opportunity for the hosts to showcase what they bring to the table and get another straight-up victory.

Why Bet on the Chiefs?
The Kansas City Chiefs started their campaign for a three-peat with an emphatic win over the Baltimore Ravens.Â
Patrick Mahomes, along with some help from Rashee Rice and rookie Xavier Worthy was able to emerge victorious in that AFC Championship rematch. They deployed a faster offense than we are accustomed to, showing signs of some bend and evolution in their play despite their dominant performance.
Now, they continue their trek through the AFC North with a matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Injury concerns include wide receivers, Hollywood Brown and Marquise Brown, with the latter getting surgery for his dislocated shoulder issue carried since last season week 10.
Why Bet on the Bengals?
Joe Burrow and the Bengals have historically been a poor team in the season openers. That said, nobody expected them to lose to the lowly New England Patriots.
Even though they were without receiver Tee Higgins, the offense was worse than anticipated en route to just 10 points. Their schedule isn’t getting any easier though. The Chiefs boast one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they have no intent on dropping their first game at home like in the last edition.
To add salt to the injury, Burrow has also been incapable of winning in week 2 in his career, so the stats are not showing promising signs of having to visit one of the hardest grounds in world sports.
Chiefs vs. Bengals Final Betting Analysis:
No offense was more disappointing in week 1 than Cincinnati’s. The Bengals are notoriously slow starters, and the Chiefs have improved along the secondary. So if Tee Higgins continues to miss time, we like Kansas City in this spot quite a bit.
The Chiefs offense looks more explosive than last season, and there’s still plenty of room for improvement. Patrick Mahomes is also tired of hearing about the Bengals’ success against him, and this might be his chance to get back at them and send them back home in a 0-2 hole after week 2. Remember that Joe Burrow has never lost against Mahommes in the regular season, and he is the only active QB to beat him in the playoffs.
However, that’s as far as the Bengals’ hopes go. 30-17 in Kansas City.
Go for a victory for the locals at 1.41. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $41 for a total payout of 141.
