We are eager to see one clash coming up in this first week of the NFL Regular Season, as the Los Angeles Chargers host the Las Vegas Raiders, who will be coming back to their old home to try and mess up the Charger’s debut in front of a divided crowd.
The Los Angeles Chargers will kick off with Jim Harbaugh, and things will get pretty interesting. Harbaugh, who won a national championship at the University of Michigan last year, has the highest NFL winning percentage among all active coaches. Accordingly, many believe the Chargers are a true dark horse contender for this Year.
The Raiders come back to their old home looking confident, but they were seventh in points allowed per game and only 23rd in scoring offense last year, which doesn’t seem like a big threat to the other teams, but they could always be ready to surprise the world in this new season.
One way or the other, we are stoked to see these two teams get ready to entertain a crowd that is quite fond of both teams in this upcoming clash at the SoFi Stadium.

Why Bet on the Chargers?
It was a year to forget for the Los Angeles Chargers (5-12) last season. Justin Herbert dealt with injuries, and the team finished last in the AFC West. Now comes Harbaugh, fresh off a national championship at Michigan, to reignite the Chargers into a crowded division.
The QB is still dealing with a foot injury, but he participated without issues in yesterday’s practice, raising hopes about his recovery. Harbaugh and new GM Joe Hortiz made plenty of changes in the off-season, with Joe Alt standing out after being drafted from Notre Dame.
Why Bet on the Raiders?
Antonio Pierce helped the Raiders recover from a tumultuous start with wins over the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs over the back half of the season. They also beat Los Angeles 63-21 in Week 15, costing former Chargers coach Brandon Staley his job.
Las Vegas has a menacing defensive front but will be put to the test in the secondary. Its ability to keep up with high-scoring offenses is also in question now that Gardner Minshew is taking over under center and Josh Jacobs has been replaced with Zamir White.
Final Betting Analysis: Chargers vs. Raiders
As much as this is a home game for the Chargers, the Raiders fans in Los Angeles will surely make their presence felt in this one. The new-look Chargers might not be as cohesive under coach Jim Harbaugh as the Raiders are under Antonio Pierce.
But the Chargers have the best player on the field, quarterback Justin Herbert, who should make all the difference.
There will be a lot of Raiders fans at SoFi Stadium (they are still the most popular NFL team in LA even since their departure from the city in 1994), but the Chargers will start the Harbaugh era 1-0.
Go for a victory for the locals at 1.64. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $64 for a total payout of $164.
