Chicago was buried last week by Buffalo when its former starting quarterback ran through the Bears‘ defense. The Bears fell to 1-1 in the preseason and were never in the game against the Bills, who rested nearly all of their starters. Chicago was down 14-0 after the first quarter and 34-6 at the half.
The Bears mounted a pair of scoring drives in the fourth quarter behind rookie Justin Fields, but the game had already been decided at that point. Chicago was outgained 347-298 in the contest, gave up 25 first downs while picking up 14, and lost the time of possession battle 31:08 to 28:52 into the game. Both teams lost the ball twice, though the Bears allowed a punt return for a touchdown but missed an extra point.

Tennessee has defeated a pair of NFC South teams in the preseason to improve to 2-0 on the year after dismantling Tampa Bay on the road. The Titans have gotten the job done on both sides of the ball, outscoring the Falcons and Buccaneers by a combined 57-6 count in the two wins.

The Bears are on the road and face a very tough Titans team. The Titans had an 11-5 record last season and won the AFC South. The year before the Titans had a 9-7 record and made the playoffs as a Wild Card team. Head coach Mike Vrabel has turned this team into an AFC powerhouse in recent years. In 2019, the Titans won their first two playoff games before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champions in the AFC Championship game. Last season, they fell to the Ravens in the wild-card round.
The thing is, this team is very well put together and I can see them making a strong push in the AFC again this season.
