Super Bowl

After the 24 games played here in Week 6, the Celtics, Bucks, Cavaliers, and Hawks lead the Eastern Conference, while the Suns, Nuggets, Pelicans, and Jazz lead the Western Conference. Two of the top contenders for leadership in the Eastern Conference clashed on Monday. The Cavaliers received the Hawks and won by 114-102, in a match that was expected to be a little more balanced.

On the same day, the Pelicans destroyed the Warriors: 128-83, with an impeccable performance by Brandon Ingram, who scored no less than 34 points.

In Tuesday’s games, the highlight was the Suns’ victory over the Lakers by 115-105, a result that kept the Arizona team at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Playing at home, on Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors beat the LA Clippers by 124 to 107, but without conquering any position in the table – the Warriors remain in 11th in the Pacific Division. On the same day, the Nets beat the Raptors by 112-98, making the Atlantic Division even more balanced: only the Celtics have 14 wins, while the other teams have won 9 times.

Let’s follow the main clashes of this week, showing those clashes that can mess with the NBA rankings.

NBA 22/23 Weekly Preview 6: LA Clippers 121 x 114 Utah Jazz

When: Monday, November 21st, 09:30 PM ET

Moneyline odds

La Clippers -163

Utah Jazz +132

Anyone who believed in the victory of the LA Clippers and bet on the California team guaranteed a good quote and a good return. Norman Powell scored 30 points in the game, which helped the Clippers win 121-114.

The Clippers were far superior in the first and last quarters, but even when they didn’t play well, they managed to balance the game in the middle quarters. Ivica Zubac grabbed 14 rebounds and was instrumental in the Clippers’ victory.

The Utah Jazz visited the Pistons the next day and also lost, this time 125-116.

NBA 22/23 Weekly Preview 6: Milwaukee Bucks 113 x 118 Chicago Bulls

When: Wednesday, November 23rd, 08:00 PM ET

The Chicago Bulls once again showed how balanced the NBA is by beating the Bucks away from home on Wednesday. Antetokounmpo and DeMar DeRozan made a duel apart, as both scored 36 points in that game.

The Bulls defined the game in the third quarter when they won 29-21 and managed the advantage in the final 15 minutes. The Chicago Bulls remained in 11th place, while the Bucks remained in second place in the Eastern Conference.

NBA 22/23 Weekly Preview 6: Boston Celtics 125 x 112 Dallas Mavericks

When: Wednesday, November 23rd, 07:00 PM ET

The Celtics didn’t give the Mavericks team a chance and dominated the match from the start, opening a good advantage over Dallas, which recovered in the last two quarters. Luka Doncic was the best scorer of the match with 42 points, but the collective game of the Boston Celtics was superior, allowing the home team to easily win.

NBA 22/23 Weekly Preview 6: Boston Celtics vs. Sacramento Kings

When: Friday, November 25th, 08:00 PM ET

The Celtics return to play on Friday to try to maintain the sequence of good results they have been conquering. Despite losing to the Bulls on Monday, the team recovered from the scare and beat the Dallas Mavericks a day later.

Tomorrow’s opponent had their 7-game winning streak broken yesterday, after losing to the Atlanta Hawks, 115-106.

The history of direct matches favors the Boston Celtics since, in the last 20 meetings, they have won 13. The Kings are looking for their 11th victory to get even closer to the top positions in the Western Conference, while the Celtics can reach their 15th victory in the current season. Our guess is for the Celtics to win.
