The NBA Season is coming to an end, as we, at this point, have crowned both conference Champions, and it is up to one last series between them to know who will be crowned as the Season’s Champion when they meet.
But before we get into the final and it’s detailed, let’s take a look at how things took place during the whole season, as a little appetizer of what is coming:
NBA Regular Season Breakdown:
EASTERN Conference:
The Eastern Conference had a full twist happening during the season, as the Boston Celtics started pretty strong and took a heavy lead for most of the time.
They had the Bucks, 76ers, and Cavaliers behind them for almost three-quarters of the regular phase, until something quite amazing happened.
The Milwaukee Bucks took a shot when the Celtics slowed down a slight bit, and managed an unrelenting 16-game win streak to take over the top spot and not give it back at all.
During this time, the battle at the top was going strong, but the real dark horse of the playoffs was getting ready to sweep in.
Miami Heat made their way into the playoffs on the 8th spot at the end of the regular season, and what would happen next, a lot of us did not expect at all.
WESTERN Conference:
Unlike the big twist going on in the Easter Conference, the Western Conference was a lot more steady, with a fight on the top going in between the Nuggets and the Grizzlies, with the Sacramento Kings close behind for most of the run.
Most of the positions were kept steady, so no surprises were going into the playoffs.
Steady was the word to describe the Western Conference this season.
Playoffs Breakdown:
Western Conference
As we mentioned before, there were huge surprises at both conferences.
The Western Conference had the Denver Nuggets facing the Timberwolves, and there were no surprises as they got 4-1 results to get to the second round.
The Grizzlies lost to the Lakers by a 4-2 score, which was a surprise for everybody.
The Suns and Warriors were the 2nd challenges for these teams, but the Nuggets managed a 4-2 win over the Suns, and the Lakers got a 4-2 over the Warriors to make it into the Conference Final.
It was there when the #1 Placed Western Conference team showcased their skillset, as they got a clean slate, beating the Lakers on a 4-0 score to crown themselves.
Eastern Conference:
It was interesting to see things go down in the Eastern Conference, as the strong teams were a step above (in our minds)
The Bucks had the Miami Heat, and the Boston Celtics clashed with the Hawks.
Seeing the Celtics beat the Hawks by a 4-2 score was not a surprise, but seeing Miami by a 4-1 score over the Bucks was completely bonkers.
The underdogs got the knicks, and another victory arrived with a 4-2 score.
The Celtics started having difficult times, as they went to the last match of the series, achieving a 4-3 score.
It was at the Conference Finals where it all became way more exciting, as the Dark Horse of the Playoffs managed to take out both the top teams in the conference and achieved a pass to the Championship series on a 4-3 score over the Celtics.

It is now that we get into the most awaited match of the season:
Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets will start their seven-game series.
As a result, both teams are diligently preparing for the crucial Game 1, fully aware that their path to hoisting the trophy hangs in the balance.
As expected, both of these teams have showcased impressive performances throughout the playoffs, getting notable wins against their opponents.
The Heat and the Nuggets both got big wins in the previous round, with the Heat wrapping up their series last night in seven games and the Nuggets coming away with the win in a four-game sweep.
The Nuggets have showcased their dominance all season, while the resilient Heat has consistently exceeded expectations in the postseason.
–
Miami has shown what they have many times already, and this season the underdogs have done quite well. Taking them as an easy treat will be shameful. However, there is one key aspect to take into account.
In the GSW vs. Lakers series, we saw a tired team from San Francisco take an inspired side from Los Angeles, causing them to lose the first game at home. The rest was history.
The point is that tiredness is a key factor, the Heat already felt that against the Celtics. They come with one week less of rest and three games more on their shoulder. We don’t believe they’ll manage to take the first two games but don’t expect a sweep. We see a 4-2 as the most probable outcome.
