If there is one thing that has defined the Boston Celtics throughout their history, it has been their “sacred plaza” The TD Garden, home of myths and legends and great Celtics victories. Boston knew that they had to return to the high level that their defense has shown throughout the season if they wanted to have a chance to win the NBA ring due to the size and quality of their rival, the Golden State Warriors. After a high-level game from the beginning, added to a disastrous end for a Warriors team who did not exceed eleven points in the final quarter.

Those coached by Ime Udoka, prevailed this Wednesday by 116-100 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, to place themselves with a 2-1 advantage on aggregate, which leaves them only two wins away from being crowned champions after a match in which they dominated practically from start to finish.

The Boston Celtics haven’t lost two straight in the playoffs so far, and just starting the game they made it very clear that this excellent run was not going to end tonight.

Boston, guided by their star Jaylen Brown, who scored 17 points in the first quarter, soon took an advantage of more than 10 points, relying mainly on their best weapon, their defense. The work on personal bests and defensive assists by Udoka’s coaches was fantastic throughout the night, forcing Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to plan a game where they practically only shot 3-pointers, to keep afloat the Warrior’s aspirations.

Jaylen Brown, off to a terrific 17-point start in the first quarter, and Jayson Tatum, loading up the offense in the second half, went on to carry the win with 27 and 26 points, respectively. Marcus Smart, with 24 points, was the third scoring support for the Celtics who shot well from the 3-point line.

Boston began the game by rolling over Golden State with an excellent 11-point lead at the end of the first quarter. Then, the Warriors tried to wake up in the game; but with a weak defense in the paint, the Celtics practically had a corridor to score under the opponent’s rim. The game went with a score of 68-56 at halftime, in favor of the locals.

The third quarter was a mirage of the first two games of the series, with the Warriors again rolling over the Celtics to lead 89-93 early in the fourth quarter. But, here came the decline of the visitors, who had the last quarter to forget where they only managed to score 11 points, while Boston scored 23, to take the victory with a score of 116-100.

Now, the Celtics hope to continue their excellent streak by playing at TD Garden in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, which will be played on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Why Bet on Warriors

The Golden State Warriors arrived at TD Garden with a mission, and that is to win at least one victory in the two games that will be played. After the loss in Game 3 of the series, Golden State knows that they must turn the page quickly to generate a new approach to the game that allows them to get around the almost impenetrable defense that the Celtics have put up at home.

The Warriors leaned offensively on Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins, who scored 31, 25, and 18 points, respectively.

Why Bet on Celtics

On the other hand, the Celtics continue to show that their home, the TD Garden, is a sacred temple for them and that defeating them on this stage is almost an apocalyptic event. And it is that Boston always demonstrates its arsenal in front of its public and manages to take advantage of each of the mistakes that its rivals can make.

The Celtics had their star trio shine last Wednesday, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Marcus Smart, who carried their team’s offense scoring 27, 26, and 24 points, respectively.

Final Betting Analysis: Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics

As expected, the series has been placed 2-1 in favor of the Celtics who were the clear favorites in this third game. For the fourth game, Boston is still a favorite; but the visitors know how to get around this type of game and, we are sure, they will use their experience to achieve it.

At MyBookie.ag we can see that there is a Moneyline that favors the Celtics at -165, while the Warriors start at +140.

We all know the power that the Warriors have in their 3-point shooting, but they should try to combine it with an inside game if they want to take advantage of all the points they score.

For this game, we think the Boston Celtics will put the series in check, heading back to the Chase Center.

Look for a straight win on the Moneyline Boston Celtics. If you put $100 on the Celtics at -165 you’ll be looking at a $60.61 win with a total payout of $160.61.
