Brazilian, Caio Cara de Kombi Borralho is a 28-year-old professional fighter who currently competes in the middleweight division of the UFC. He is one of the best prospects of the South American country, and currently has a record of 8 consecutive victories. His record keeps him without defeat since 2015 when he was defeated by Joao Carvalho by unanimous decision. However, over the years his fight has evolved positively, to the point of being the current middleweight champion of Future MMA. He is currently ranked number 50 of the 320 fighters in his division in Brazil. Borralho claims that no one will snatch the middleweight belt from him, and that he would also be willing to move up in division to dispute the light heavyweight belt that currently belongs to Matheus Buffa.

Caio Borralho’s Best Fights

Borralho’s best fight dates back to 2017 at the Arena Combat – Fight Night 2 event. He defeated fellow Brazilian Luizinho Mao de Pedra 20 seconds into the first round by a knockout. This was the bout where Caio achieved victory in the shortest amount of time possible.

On August 9, 2018, Borralho faced Douglas Nascimento at the MMA Battle 14 event. He got the win due to a technical knockout at the 1:13 minute mark of the first round, contested at the Forest Aquatic Club, Sao Paulo.

Borralho’s first appearance as a professional was at the Ecocke Fight – Gods of War event in 2014 at the Geodesico Gym in Sao Paulo. He was able to debut with a victory against the also debuting Cleiton Rafael, whom he defeated after a blow that completely knocked him out at minute 1:48 of the first round.

The fight that may be the most important of his career is the Future FC 12 – Future Fighting Championships 12 which took place on October 16, 2020. At this event, Borralho won the middleweight championship title that he currently holds. He faced Wildemar Matheus Souza dos Santos, and achieved a victory at the end of the fight by unanimous decision.
