This past weekend, we enjoyed the action of MLS Round 10, with teams battling it out and going all out for the three points.

Due to the tightness of the table, every point and every win is vital for all teams. In the East, Cincinnati moved to the top of the table after their win over Sporting KC, but Inter Miami, with one game in hand, is fifth in the table with 4 points less.

In the West, things remain the same, with the Whitecaps leading the table after 10 games with 23 points, Portland Timbers, who beat the Galaxy 4-2, are second, while the difference between Austin FC (3rd) and Seattle Sounders (9th) is only 3 points. As a result, we could see a lot of movement at the top of the table on matchday 11.

Kévin Denkey scored a goal in each half, including a spectacular second-half bicycle kick, to lead FC Cincinnati to a 2-1 victory over Sporting KC on Saturday.

Cincinnati has now secured five straight wins, with their last loss coming in a 0-2 defeat to Charlotte on March 15.

The match remained scoreless until Denkey capitalized on a deflected shot by Sporting KC goalkeeper John Pulskamp, slotting the ball into the net from the right side of the box in the 43rd minute.

Donkey then wowed the crowd with his second goal in the 78th minute, extending Cincinnati’s lead to 2-0. Orellano has accumulated nine assists in 41 games during his two seasons in the league.

Finally, Sporting KC added excitement to the match when defender Zoran Bassong scored the first goal of his career in the 89th minute.

Spanish player Carles Gil scored the decisive goal in the 77th minute, with a key assist from Langoni. This victory is a significant step for the Revs to secure a place in the MLS playoffs.

The Argentine player made a slick move, passing to the team’s #10, who then tipped the ball with his left foot and headed it beyond Kahlina’s right side. The goal was quite unusual, looking more like a cross than a shot, and managed to get into the home team’s net without being deflected.

This win has propelled New England to 10th place in the Eastern Conference, with 13 points from 9 games (with one game remaining). Meanwhile, British coach Dean Smith’s team missed the opportunity to climb to the top, as they were in fourth place with 19 points.

Houston Dynamo secured their second win of the 2025 MLS season on Saturday with an excellent 2-0 victory over Austin FC at the Shell Energy Stadium. The Texans’ win propelled them to 10 points, moving them into 12th place in the Western Conference standings.

In the 60th minute, Ondrej Linger opened the scoring for Houston Dynamo with a well-placed right-footed shot from outside the box that found the lower left corner of the net.

The lead was extended in the match when Ezequiel Ponce scored Houston Dynamo’s second goal, making the score 2-0 against Austin FC. Ponce’s left-footed shot from the left side of the box snuck into the top left corner, with Griffin Dorsey providing the assist on a counterattack.

The victory marked a significant moment for the Houston Dynamo in their campaign.

Vancouver Whitecaps secured a 3-1 victory over Minnesota in the Week 10 MLS clash, powered by a brace from Pedro Vite. Before Vite’s heroics, Sebastian Berhalter had already put the Whitecaps ahead with a goal.

Pedro Vite was exceptional in Vancouver’s victory, entering the game in the 63rd minute and making an immediate impact. Just three minutes after joining, the team was able to extend their lead on the scoreboard.

Vite continued to shine, adding to his tally in the 70th minute when he took advantage of an excellent pass from Ali Ahmed inside the box, sealing the victory with a spectacular finish to make the score 3-0. Minnesota managed to get one back against Wil Trapp in the latter stages of the match.

Pedro Vite’s impressive form continued. Following his remarkable performance in Vancouver’s win over Inter Miami in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals, where he provided an assist in the first leg.
