MLS Matchday 3

Things are going well for both teams leading the conferences, as Inter Miami currently has an eight-point advantage on the Eastern side, while LA Galaxy leads the Western Conference by five. In resume, no matter what happens this weekend, they can’t be dethroned.

LAFC and Real Salt Lake are now tied in the fight for second place in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Cincinnati has a short lead over Columbus Crew, one of the strongest teams in recent months.

Now, let’s prepare to expand on our weekly picks with the respective odds and betting advice.

New York Red Bulls will look to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Philadelphia Union when they take on Sporting Kansas City on Sunday morning.

The Metros aim to end their four-game winless run in all competitions, and they will fight tooth and nail against the Wizards. All Wikelman Carmona, Emil Forsberg, and Roald Mitchell continue to miss out with injuries, while top scorer Lewis Morgan is on international duty with Scotland.

Meanwhile, Sporting Kansas City outplayed Orlando City 3-0 in their last league match, and given Morgan’s absence, we predict that the visitors will grab something from the Red Bull Arena as well. Midfielder William Agada is banned for the visiting side, while Nemanja Radoja, Robert Castellanos, and Memo Rodriguez are out of contention with injuries.

Taking everything into account, we believe that things are pointing out to a draw.

NY Red Bulls vs. Sporting KC Betting Pick: Draw

It’s an away trip for Brian Schmetzer’s Seattle Sounders side on Sunday morning, as they head to the Lower.com Field for a thought meeting with Wilfried Nancy’s Columbus Crew.

The Crew is looking pretty strong, as their 14 wins, seven draws, and four losses show. They have been a tough team to crack, and as they face a Seattle team placed 8th on the Eastern side, things are not looking too bright for the visitors.

We expect the home team to showcase their skills as they get the three points.

Columbus vs. Seattle Sounders Betting Pick: Columbus Crew

MLS Matchday 30: Houston Dynamo vs. LAFC

In an interesting turn of events, the Dynamo and LAFC will face after last week’s clash, where the Orange and Black achieved a massive win as visitors. This victory is key in their quest to ensure consecutive postseason participation, something that has not happened in many years.

They now must repeat the feat against an LAFC side in low hours that, apart from the incorporation of Olivier Giroud, has not had much good news in recent weeks. Losing the Leagues Cup final was a big hit, so they’llbe seeking recovery.

Whatever the case,we’ll go for the Dynamo to achieve an unlikely double.

Houston Dynamo vs. LAFC Betting Pick: Houston

MLS Matchday 30: Vancouver vs. Dallas

When?Saturday, September 7 at 10:30 PM ET, 9:30 PM CST, 8:30 PM MT, and 7:30 PM PT

The Canadians aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Austin FC, but they must prove their worth on the field. Barring any fresh injury worries, Vanni Sartini is unlikely to make changes to the team that faced Austin at the weekend, while the likes of Brian White, Levonte Johnson, and Max Anchor remain in the recovery room.

The Toros, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 3-2 loss to Colorado Rapids, and given their difficulties on the road, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up the three points.

Croatia forward Petar Musa is widely expected to return to the starting eleven after scoring as a substitute in the last MLS game, while the likes of Liam Fraser, Geovane Jesus, and Paxton Pomykal continue to miss out with injuries.

Vancouver vs. Dallas Betting Pick: Vancouver Whitecaps
