Why Bet on Monterrey?

Monterrey is the leader of Liga MX and, so far, is undefeated in five matches, with three wins and two draws, totaling eleven points, nine goals scored, and three conceded.

Rayados are coming from a 1-1 draw with Club América, in a duel that pitted two of the three leaders of the Clausura 2024, the other being Tigres. Chilean Diego Valdés gave the Águilas the lead in the 24th, while Spanish midfielder Sergio Canales equalized in the 40th.

So far, Monterrey is among the teams that have scored the most goals, with nine, four of which came in the last two matches. Defensively, they have allowed three goals, the second-best defense.

Their best goal scorer continues to be 25-year-old American Brandon Vásquez, who came from Cincinnati FC of the MLS

The team coached by Fernando Ortiz has good attacking players, as Canales and Vásquez are joined by Argentine winger Maxi Meza and striker Germán Berterame.

During the week, they played the leg 1 of the first round of the Concachampions and beat Comunicaciones of Guatemala 1-4 with goals by Berterame, Arturo González, Jesús Gallardo, and Rodrigo Aguirre.

Rayados only has one injury, and that is to defender Axel Grijalva.

Why Bet on Pachuca?

Pachuca has the advantage that, unlike most of its Liga MX rivals, it has not yet started in the Concachampions, so it will be looking for a good cushion of points to qualify for the Playoffs as quickly as possible.

In their last match, the ‘Tuzos’ defeated Tijuana 3-2, thanks to goals by Miguel Rodríguez, Oussama Idrissi, and Salomón Rondón.

Precisely, the Venezuelan Rondón, who arrived as a figure in the last market due to his history in Europe, is the top scorer in Liga MX with four goals and one assist, scoring in three of four games.

Pachuca has nine points from four games. Its only loss was 3-1 against Pumas on January 28. Like Monterrey, the Tuzos have nine goals scored but have allowed eight goals. They have a game in hand against León and, if they win it, they can join the group of leaders.

One positive for the club coached by Uruguayan Guillermo Almada is that they won 1-0 on their last visit to Monterrey, with a goal by Avilés Hurtado.

The Tuzos are not reporting any injured players for this away match.

Final Betting Analysis: Monterrey vs. Pachuca

The last time these teams met, the 0-2 victory went to the Rayados, with goals from the Argentines Germán Berterame and Rogelio Funes Mori. In the last three games between these two, the visitor always won.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Monterrey as the favorite. The Moneyline for them shows 1.54, while Pachuca has 5.62, and the draw is at 4.2.

This is an even duel, as Pachuca has nine points and is at a high level. However, Monterrey will be playing at home, where it has not lost since October, and therefore, will take the three points to maintain its position. We’ll go for a 3-2.

Go for a win in Monterrey’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 1.54, you will gain $54 for a total payout of $154.
