Southampton could not beat Manchester United at home and lost with a terrible score of 0-3 last weekend.

One of the most entertaining games of the day was between Aston Villa and Everton, which was a 3-2 victory for the Villans.

We enjoyed a spectacular match with plenty of emotions. However, it was Everton who surprised Villa Park by taking a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Dwight McNeil (’16) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (’27).

Then, in the 36th minute, Aston Villa began their spectacular comeback after Ollie Watkins scored their first goal. In the 13th minute of the second half, i.e. in the 58th minute, Watkins scored the 2-2 to give the home fans a lot of excitement, while, in the 76th minute, Jhon Durán scored a beauty that will be a contender for the goal of the season to complete the comeback.

Tottenham failed at home against one of the main candidates to fight for the Premier League crown, Arsenal, and lost with a score of 0-1.

As expected, the match was intense from start to finish and the winner was to be decided after a mistake by the rival. Spurs had the ball for the whole game, but, they could not take advantage of their supremacy to convert their dominance into goals.

On the other hand, the Gunners were able to score the only goal of the match in the 64th minute through Gabriel Magalhães.

With this result, Arsenal remains second, two points behind City. Meanwhile, Spurs are 13th in the standings with only one win in four matches.

Finally, Newcastle fulfilled their goal of taking the three points in this away match against Wolves by 1-2.

Although they were favored to win, Newcastle had to fight tooth and nail to get the victory and was losing for a good chunk of the 90 minutes.

Wolves took advantage of a mistake in Newcastle’s defense to score the first goal of the match thanks to Mario Lemina in the 36th minute.

However, 15 minutes before the end of the match, the Magpies woke up and equalized the score 1-1 thanks to Fabian Schär’s goal. Finally, five minutes later, Harvey Barnes completed the comeback with a wondergoal, thesame case as with Aston Villa, to reach ten points alongside Arsenal.
