NBA Betting Preview Odds and Free Picks

The emotions of the best basketball in the world, the NBA, continue, and, starting this Monday, November 14, a new week will begin that we are sure will be full of many emotions, with the teams still taking the pace of play they need to be among the best teams in the league.

So far this season, we have been able to observe how the so-called favorite teams have been able to start with their foot on the gas. We are talking about teams like Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Utah Jazz.

Others like the Suns, Nuggets, Mavericks, Cavaliers, and Hawks, have had a great start, but they need to add more consecutive victories to be able to climb positions in their respective conferences.

In this past week, Dallas Mavericks’ Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic continued to extend his NBA legacy at the age of 25, as he recorded his third triple-double of the regular season and 49th of his league career against Portland.

Doncic becomes the second player 25 years old or younger with the most 40-point triple-doubles, behind only legend Oscar Robertson with 22. He is also the 6th player in history with the most 40-point triple-doubles. Oscar Robertson is also the leader in this section with 22, followed by James Harden with 16.

But, just as great teams are showing an excellent level of play, we have some like Warriors who have not been able to win a single game away from home, as well as the Lakers who are in the ditch in the Western Conference.

In the East we have 4 teams that fought last season at the top of the standings, 76ers, Bulls, Nets, and Heat, at the bottom of the table, so, the moment they get to wake up, the tournament will get much more interesting.

Now then, we will have the best games that we can enjoy in this week 5 of the NBA with our free picks.

Update

Week 5 of the NBA started on November 14th, usually on Monday, and will end on Sunday, the 20th, with the confrontation between San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers.
Among the 12 games that took place on Monday and Tuesday, some clashes stood out, such as the balanced game between the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns (113-112) and the spectacular victory of the Golden State Warriors against the San Antonio Spurs (132-95).
In the confrontation between the teams with fewer victories in the two conferences, the Charlotte Hornets beat the Orlando Magic by 112 to 105, achieving the fourth victory in the current season, but still without being able to surpass their rivals in the Southeast Division.
The Celtics beat the Thunder 126-122 and moved to the top of the Eastern Conference, reaching 11 wins in 14 games and pushing the Bucks to second place.
Wednesday and Friday will be full of big games, with the Warriors v Suns playing tonight and the Bucks visiting the 56ers two days later. We’ll be tracking the top games that took place this week and the best games yet to come in week 5.

The fifth week of the 2022-23 NBA season will start with many interesting games and one of them, without a doubt, will be between Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns, which will be played this Monday, November 14, 2022, at Miami Heat’s home, which we are waiting for the name it will take since it will no longer be called the FTX Arena.

If we were to go back to last season, this game would be full of expectations, as both teams were fighting for the top of their respective conferences throughout the season, but, this time, we only have the Suns fighting at the top of the West, as the Heat are ranked #12 in the East.

Miami Heat has not been able to have the expected pace of play, they have had many defensive problems, especially playing away from home, where they have only managed to win 1 of 4 games played.

The Heat have Jimmy Butler as their leading scorer with an average of 22.1 points per game, 6.1 assists per game, and 1.9 steals per game. While Butler is playing a great season, the team has not been able to have a good defense that would allow them to keep the scores up.

On the other hand, we have the Phoenix Suns, one of the teams that have had the label of favorite in recent seasons, but, when it comes down to it, they have not been able to come out victorious. In the same way, at the beginning of the season, they played very good basketball, they are in the upper zone of the Western Conference and, their mission is to lead again the general classification table.

The Suns have been supported in these first games by Devin Booker, their star forward who averages 26.7 points per game and 5.6 assists per game. We also have Chris Paul, the veteran who still drives the ball like he’s 20 years old and, while he hasn’t had a good season in terms of points per game, he averages almost 10 assists per game played.

For this game, we expect a train wreck between two great teams in their respective divisions and our pick is a Phoenix Suns win.

Miami Heat vs. Phoenix Suns Betting Pick: Phoenix Suns

This duel has occurred a total of 225 times throughout the history of the league, where we have a dominance by Milwaukee Bucks with 128 wins, while the Cleveland Cavaliers have managed to take 97 wins.

But, in the last 3 games that these teams have played, the Cavaliers have managed to win all 3 games, and, most worrying for the Bucks is that they have been with differences of +15 points.

The Bucks, as they have done in the last seasons, have started this 2022-23 with everything, and with an excellent record, they are leading the NBA Eastern Conference. The fight is very nice with the Celtics and Cavaliers, that is why every game they play in this week 5 will be essential to maintain first place in the conference.

The Bucks have relied on their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who averages 31.8 points per game and 12.2 rebounds per game. They also have to guard Jrue Holiday who plays the most minutes per game for the Bucks and averages 19.6 points and 7.9 assists per game.

On the other hand, we have the Cleveland Cavaliers, a team that continues to surprise everyone with the great ability they have had to obtain good results at the beginning of the season.

The Cavaliers are the ninth team in the league in terms of points per game average, with Donovan Mitchel as the main responsible for these statistics, as he is having a dream season with 31.6 points per game. Something impressive about Mitchel’s stats is that he plays 39.1 minutes per game, that is, he has shown spectacular physical conditions.

For this game, we do not doubt that the Bucks will take advantage of their home condition and will get a great victory against a very dangerous Cavaliers.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Pick: Milwaukee Bucks

NBA Weekly Preview 5 – Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors

When:

Wednesday, November 16 at 10:00 pm ET at the Footprint Center

Moneyline odds:

Suns +106

Warriors -129

Where Can I Watch it?

TNT SportsESPN, and NBA League Pass

Even though the record between these two teams leads the Suns with 145 wins, while the Warriors have won 111 times, in the last two seasons we have seen a spectacular rivalry between these two teams, where they give us heart-stopping games.

The Suns already know what it’s like to beat the Warriors this season, as last October 25 they managed to crush them with a score of 134-105. The Warriors are indeed having a lot of problems in their games, but, we expect them to be at their best for this one.

In this game, the Suns had the impressive Devin Booker, who no matter what team he is facing, always plays very aggressively and commands his team’s offense.

The Warriors have started the season in the worst possible way, right now they are closer to the bottom of the Western Conference standings than the top, but, in the blink of an eye, they could climb several positions if they get on a significant winning streak.

As has been customary in the last decade, the Warriors depend on the offense of Steph Curry, who this season has not disappointed, as he averages 33.3 points per game and almost 7 assists and 7 rebounds per game, but he has not had enough help to lead his team to victory.

We refer mainly to Klay Thompson, who only averages 14.5 points per game, being the fourth in his team, after Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole, who average 18.4 and 15.4, respectively.

For this game, we are betting on an overwhelming victory for the Phoenix Suns.

Phoenix Suns vs. Golden State Warriors Betting Pick: Phoenix Suns

NBA Weekly Preview 5 – Atlanta Hawks vs. Toronto Raptors

When:

Saturday, November 19th 6:00 PM ET at the State Farm Arena

Moneyline odds:

Toronto Raptors (soon)

Atlanta Hawks (soon)

Where can I watch it?:

TNT Sports, ESPN, and NBA League Pass

The Hawks are still in complete euphoria after beating the Milwaukee Bucks two days ago, 121-106. The Bucks were the best team in the NBA at the time, and the Hawks won twice within a week.

With high confidence, the Atlanta team will receive, on Saturday, the Toronto Raptors – a team that is still struggling to keep a good position in the Atlantic Division.

The Raptors have won 8 of 15 games played and will face the Miami Heat tonight before traveling to face the Hawks.

This will be a confrontation between two contenders for the leadership of their divisions. Two teams looking to stay at the top and qualify for the next stages of the NBA. An unmissable game.

We believe the Hawks will win this matchup by a 3-6 point margin.
