Poland takes on Sweden in UEFA EURO 2020 Group E in St. Petersburg on Wednesday, June 23 at 11:00 E.T., where it will also be televised by DIRECTV Sports. After beating Slovakia on Matchday 2 thanks to an Emil Forsberg penalty, Sweden is the surprise leader of the section ahead of the final day of Group E and Monday’s results already assured them of a place in the Round of 16. Poland needs a win to qualify. To that end, Robert Lewandowski’s headed equalizer against Spain on Saturday was a boon.

Here are five interesting facts to review before the two teams’ final group stage match:

1. Poland will qualify with a win and could even top the group if the other match ends in a draw.

2. Sweden has qualified and will top the group if it beats Poland.

3. This is the 27th meeting between the two teams, with Sweden having won 14 of 26 matches, including the last five.

4. The Swedes have not advanced beyond the group stage since reaching the quarterfinals at the UEFA EURO 2004 finals.

5. Four years ago, Poland reached the quarterfinals for the first time and was eliminated from the tournament without having lost a match, as Portugal could only beat Poland in that round in a penalty shootout.

Let’s review the current situation of both teams before the last group stage match:

Sweden: The Group E leaders were solid defensively and drew against Spain before finding their attacking form against Slovakia, especially in the second half. Alexander Isak has taken much of the responsibility for Sweden’s attacking forays; let’s hope he can open his scoring account in the finals against Poland.

Poland: I don’t remember two such different Polish performances in the space of a few days. The effort against Spain restored faith in the team after the opening loss to Slovakia. Poland’s recent form is not as good as Sweden’s (unbeaten in their last seven games), but there is a belief that a new chapter can be written. Another Lewandowski goal would be his fourth in a EURO, taking him past the man he shares the national record with, Jakub Błaszczykowski.
