An incomplete weekend has ended in the Premier League, where the few matches that have taken place have had no surprises and keep Arsenal as the only leader of the standings, with Manchester City and Tottenham as their closest pursuers.
Brighton and Manchester United are still at the top of the table, but let’s remember that they have one less game played, which was suspended on matchday 8, after the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea and Liverpool seem to have woken up this season, and it is expected that in the coming weeks they will increase their performance and return to being those competitive teams that we are used to seeing in recent years.

Arsenal beat Brentford 3-0 on Sunday in the eighth Premier League matchday of the season to regain sole possession of the top spot in the overall standings, one point ahead of Manchester City (2nd) and Tottenham (3rd), who won their matches on Saturday.

Manchester City, Erling Haaland, and company continue to be on fire at the start of the Premier League season after achieving a new victory, this time away against Wolves with a crushing score of 3-0.

Tottenham was prepared for its most important game of the Premier League Season against City. It would have been the confirmation or first, important blow on its title shot this season. The poor Foxes suffered the onslaught of a Son Hung-Min that was having a slow start of the season, with the Korean getting an impressive hat-trick after getting in the field in the second half. 6-2 was the final result, and Leicester is confirmed as the surprise candidate for relegation this season.
