After a week full of international football with the World Cup qualifiers, we return to domestic leagues, and the Premier League will play its fourth matchday.
The standout game this weekend will be the Manchester derby between City and United, two teams that have had a poor start.
Meanwhile, the leaders with a perfect record, Liverpool, will have to visit Burnley, one of the newly promoted sides.
The ‘Reds’ closest chasers are two London teams: Chelsea will visit Brentford, while Arsenal will host Nottingham Forest in the match that opens the round.
At Gambyl Exchange, you can explore all the predictions for the Premier League, the final bets for this matchday, and the odds for each match.

Arsenal had a very good start, beating Manchester United away (0-1) and thrashing Leeds (5-0).However, against the champions, they couldn’t keep that run going and fell 1-0, while also suffering the injury of William Saliba, who joins a long list of key absentees, including Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus.
As for Nottingham Forest, they started strong but have declined since. They opened with a 3-1 win over Brentford, then drew 1-1 away at Crystal Palace, and most recently lost 0-3 at home to West Ham.That result cost Nuno Espírito Santo his job, and he has been replaced by Australian Ange Postecoglou, who comes from winning the Europa League with Tottenham.
Arsenal vs. Forest Betting Pick: Arsenal

Two away defeats and one home win—that has been Brentford’s start, with the team scoring exactly one goal in each of their matches. The departures of players like Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa, Christian Norgaard, and Mark Flekken have taken their toll, and although they reinforced well, the new signings have yet to make a big impact.
On the other hand, Chelsea wants to be champions this year and strengthened with that goal in mind, bringing in many young players who already have significant experience. They were surprised in their opener, drawing 0-0 at home against Crystal Palace, but then beat West Ham (1-5) and Fulham (2-0) to be one of the three unbeaten teams in the tournament.
Brentford vs. Chelsea Betting Pick: Chelsea
Premier League Matchday 4: Burnley vs. Liverpool

Burnley is one of the newly promoted teams, but after four years alternating between the first and second divisions, they don’t want that cycle to continue. They’ve lost both of their away matches, against Tottenham (3-0) and Manchester United with a last-minute penalty (3-2). At home, they beat Sunderland 2-0, one of their potential rivals in the relegation battle. Offensively, they’ll be looking for Marcus Edwards and Armando Broja to start finding the net.
Liverpool is defending their title and started off on the right foot. Three matches, three wins—and against tough opponents like Bournemouth (4-2), Newcastle (2-3), and Arsenal (1-0). However, the ‘Reds’ haven’t looked as strong as before, with all three wins coming from goals scored after the 80th minute. Florian Wirtz has yet to show why they paid nearly $150 million for him.
Burnley vs. Liverpool Betting Pick: Burnley
Premier League Matchday 4: Manchester City vs. Manchester United

The Manchester derby comes at a bad moment for both sides. City sits 13th, with a 0-4 win over Wolves in their opener, followed by back-to-back defeats to Tottenham (at home) and Brighton. Pep Guardiola has to deal with up to 10 injured players, including the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic, and Rayan Cherki. On the other hand, Erling Haaland is the Premier League’s top scorer with three goals and is coming off scoring five against Moldova with Norway.
As for United, they’ve gone from less to more. They lost their opener at home to Arsenal (0-1), then drew away at Fulham (1-1), and beat Burnley 3-2 with a last-minute penalty. However, it’s also worth noting they were knocked out of the EFL Cup on penalties by fourth-division Grimsby. Benjamin Sesko, for whom they paid $90 million, has yet to score, while Mbeumo, signed for $88 million, has two goals this season but missed the decisive penalty against Grimsby. The goalkeepers are still a big problem.
Manchester City vs. Manchester United Betting Pick: Manchester City
