Maximiliano Eduardo Meza is a soccer player of Argentine nationality who was born on December 15, 1992, in Corrientes, Argentina. He currently plays in the right forward position and is one of the offensive references of the Monterrey Soccer Club, in the Mexican soccer league.
In his beginnings, Maxi Meza was a very promising player; so all soccer connoisseurs in Argentina saw him playing in the best clubs in Europe. However, his performance was not what they expected and, at 29 years old, he has not managed to transcend beyond American borders.

Maxi Meza began his professional career at Club Campa Pora. Then he moved to the lower divisions of Gimnasia in 2010. He made his professional debut in 2013 when his team beat Douglas Haig with a score of 3-0; in a match corresponding to the Argentine Cup.
In 2013, he achieved promotion to the first division of Argentina, with Gimnasia, a club he belonged to until 2015. After several years where he showed that he was in a great moment; he managed to sign a transfer to Independiente for $2.0 million for 4 years.
His most outstanding moments at Independiente were winning the Copa Sudamericana in 2017. There he managed to score a goal and first place in the Suruga Bank Cup played in Japan.

In 2019, Meza captured, thanks to his good seasons in Argentina, a Mexican talent scout who helped him sign a 5-year contract with his current team, Monterrey.
Regarding his participation with the Argentine national team, Jorge Sampaoli in 2018 put him on the sheet, for a friendly against Spain, where they lost with a score of 1-6. Thanks to his excellent performance in the matches he was called up too and, to the level he showed in training, he was called up to represent Argentina at the 2018 Russia World Cup, where he played all 4 games his team played but did not score any goals.
