Super Bowl

Matchday 4 of the Torneo Clausura 2023 of Liga MX ended and Pachuca is the new leader while América woke up.

In an entertaining match, Atlas and Santos equalized 2-2 thanks to goals from Jonathan Herrera and Julián Quiñones for the Zorros, and Javier Correa and Juan Brunetta for the Laguneros, who are fourth.

America woke up and destroyed everything in its path. At the Azteca stadium, the Aguilas were devastating and crushed Mazatlán 6-0 with a hat-trick by Henry Martin and goals by Jonathan Rodríguez, Diego Valdés, and Richard Sánchez. Fernando Ortíz’s men are already in seventh place and achieved their first victory, while Esteban Caballero’s men are last, they have not scored any points, and they have the worst attack (2) and the worst defense (10).

For their part, Chivas wants to fight for this championship and continue to get good results. This time it was a 1-2 victory over Juárez that moved them to sixth place. Víctor Guzmán and Carlos Cisneros scored the goals for those from Guadalajara, while Tomás Molina scored for the local team.

In other results, Tijuana and Pumas tied without goals, the same result as Toluca and León. Likewise, the duel between Querétaro and Cruz Azul was postponed at the request of the locals, since in March they will serve the 12-month sanction after the unfortunate incident in the match against Atlas, so they could receive fans again.

Henry Martin is the new scorer of the tournament with 5 goals, he also has 2 assists, making him the player who has produced the most in the offensive phase.
