The Group Stage of the Leagues Cup 2023 finished, and we have all the teams that made it into the round of 32 ready to clash and see who advances to the next stage.
With all the matches being direct elimination, soccer fans will be on the edge of their seats as they watch it all unfold.
We are going to have to focus on some of the teams that managed to showcase their strengths on the group stages to figure out who should be having an easier time getting into the round of 16.
These teams include Tigres UANL, Monterrey, Leon, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toluca, Mazatlan, Orlando City, Inter Miami, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Atlas, and the NY Red Bulls. Until now, the only great deception was Chivas.
We can’t, however, expect to be right in every match, so the chance for unpredictability makes it all the more exciting.

The Herons won both their group games to finish atop South 3 with six points, ahead of Cruz Azul and Atlanta United FC. They beat the Mexican side 2-1 in their first game before a 4-0 drubbing of their domestic rivals.
Lionel Messi’s arrival has transformed their fortunes, as they had entered the competition of a terrible league campaign. Miami is languishing at the bottom of the Eastern Conference with just five wins and 18 points from 22 games.
However, in the Leagues Cup, they’ve had no issues dispatching their opponents, with Messi scoring in both games.
Meanwhile, the Lions won the South 2 group with five points to finish ahead of Houston Dynamo and Santos Laguna. They beat Dynamo 5-4 on penalties after the two sides had played out a 1-1 draw from open play before seeing off Santos Laguna 3-2.
Inter have a terrible record to Orlando, but with Messi firing on all cylinders, it’s difficult to look past the Herons, and we believe that they will make it to the next round.

The Gunners won the South 1 group with five points in two games. They beat Austin 3-1 in their first game before prevailing 4-2 on penalties over Juarez after a 1-1 draw. It was a surprise change in fortunes for a side that is winless in three Liga MX games this season.
Dallas, meanwhile, came second in the South 4 group with four points in two games. They drew 2-2 with Charlotte in the first game but lost 4-1 on penalties before seeing off Necaxa 3-0.
Mazatlan may have managed a surprising run so far in the Leagues Cup, but we are expecting their upsets run to finalize in the round of 32.
Mazatlan vs. FC Dallas Betting Pick: FC Dallas

Monterrey was having one hell of a season in the Clausura Tournament, and they just showed the rest of the cup that they came in on great form as they cleared out two victories on their group.
Portland comes from a defeat at the hands of Tigres, and it may slow down their approach against the Mexican teams.
We are expecting the match to be exciting but the northeastern Mexican Team should be able to take the victory on a 2-0 score this Friday, continuing their current steamroll and increasing their momentum on their way to the round of 16.
