The Group Stage of the Leagues Cup 2023 is about to hit the 3rd and final matchday, so we are just a few games away from knowing who is going to lead each of the groups.
There are, however, some teams that didn’t want to make us wait to know, and showcased dominance in their two matches to get to the top early. These include León, Mazatlán, Inter Miami, and Philadelphia.
Cincinnati was also going to be included as one of the teams to get their two victories early, but their match with Guadalajara got suspended halfway through; however, with a score of 2-0 in favor of the MLS overall leaders, we have little doubt that they were going to win the match.
Now, the teams are set to play the final matches on the third day of the Leagues Cup 2023, to close out the groups, and at Gambyl, we are about to give you a preview of the best matches along with our free predictions.

The Black and Red reached the knockouts of the cup after beating Montreal 1-0 in their last game. Erik Hurtado netted a 70th-minute winner to secure all three points for his side.
DC is atop the East 2 group and will look to wrap up the round with two wins from two. It was a surprise win over Montreal, as DC had come off just three wins from their previous eight games. They were battered 4-0 by New England in their previous outing.
Meanwhile, Pumas started their 2023-24 season with a win but have struggled for consistency. After beating Club Tijuana 3-2 in their first game in Liga MX, the Gold, and Blues have drawn their next three. That includes a 2-2 draw with Montreal in the Leagues Cup. The Mexican side trailed 2-0 at the break, courtesy of goals from Bryce Duke and Mathieu Choiniere for Montreal.
Pumas, though, fought back late on, netting in the 88th and 91st minutes to force penalties. Adrian Aldrete and Jorge Ruvalcaba missed their spot-kicks for the Gold and Blues as their Canadian rivals prevailed 4-2.
The momentum shows for this clash and we expect D.C. United to keep going forward and take the win.

Rayados showed remarkable consistency to get the job done at Estadio de Mazatlán before the Leagues Cup tournament began. A 0-3 victory in favor of the visitors was recorded, as Mazatlán cracked under the pressure in the second part of the game, conceding three goals whilst producing nothing in attack themselves.
Without goalscorer-in-chief Morris, Seattle Sounders lacked attacking punch in their opening Leagues Cup match versus Real Salt Lake City. Coach Pablo Mastroeni’s boys completely silenced Seattle’s attackers and rightfully won 3-0.
Due to Monterrey’s excellent form and the fact that Seattle got shut down in their previous outing, we are expecting the Mexican team to confidently take a win in this clash on Sunday.
Monterrey vs. Seattle Sounders Betting Pick: Monterrey

Columbus Crew are having a good season in the MLS, sitting sixth with 36 points. They will be playing at home, so that should boost their confidence, although Club América is one of the most important Mexican teams and is expected to fight until the very end.
In their first game of the Leagues Cup, the Mexicans demolished St. Louis City. We sure thought that was going to be a close duel, but the MLS Western Conference leader couldn’t do anything against the richest club in Mexico.
Club America has much, much better players than Columbus Crew. This could very well be the best team taking part in the Leagues Cup.
That said, anything but an easy win for “Las Águilas” would be a major surprise.
