Jean David Meneses Villarroel is a Chilean soccer player who was born on March 16, 1993, in Quillota, Chile. Meneses plays in the forward position and currently belongs to Club León, of the Liga MX. In addition to this, Jean belongs to the senior team of his country and is playing the qualifying matches for Qatar 2022.

The 28-year-old Chilean began his soccer career in his native country; in his city’s team, San Luis Quillota, which played in the Primera B division, in 2012. In that same year, Meneses made his debut in a match against Coquimbo Unido. Then he came on as a substitute in the 84th minute for Bibencio Servin.
Referring to his first two years with the team, he did not participate in many games, only in 27 of them, in which he did not manage to score a goal. However, from the 2013-14 season, Meneses began to be a decisive player for his team; playing most of the games and scoring several important goals.
At the end of the 2015 season and, thanks to his excellent performance in the second division of Chilean soccer, his contract with Universidad Concepcion was announced, ahead of the 2016 closing tournament of the Chilean first division.
