Why Bet on Sao Paulo?

Last year, São Paulo won the Copa do Brasil and was able to salvage its season, qualifying for the Copa Libertadores and giving coach Dorival Júnior a ticket to the Brazilian National Team. However, this campaign began with a difficult start, which led to a change of coach.

The team, now coached by the Argentine Luis Zubeldía, has just won 2-1 against the current king of America, Fluminense, at the Maracaná stadium. With this result, the Tricolor is in fifth place with ten points from three wins, one draw, and two defeats, with ten goals scored and six conceded.

This team has four unbeaten games in the local championship and, in all competitions, has ten games without losing, which also allowed them to go first in the Libertadores group stage. The numbers of Argentinean coach Zubeldía has been the solution to the problems, with seven wins and two ties. The team has only received four goals and has scored 17. He has not lost since arriving in the Brasileirão.

São Paulo is not a good home side, taking four points from nine.

So far, there are no injuries in the Morumbi team.

Why Bet on Cruzeiro?

Cruzeiro is a Brazilian giant that hopes to resume what its history dictates, that is, to fight to be champion, something that did not happen last year, although it qualified for the Copa Sudamericana. They come from beating Atlético-GO 1-0, with Matheus Pereira scoring the only goal of the match.

The Black Beast is in sixth place with ten points, the same as its rival. They have won their last two games, so with one match in hand, they can aspire to equal Bahia and Athletico-PR at the top. So far, Cruzeiro has eight goals, but it should be noted that, in the Copa Sudamericana, they finished first and scored 12.

As visitors, they have not had a very prominent role, with one win, one draw, and one victory. That is a point to correct.

Several players are doubtful, such as Juan Ignacio Dinenno, Felipe Machado, Japa, and Mateus Vital.

Final Betting Analysis: São Paulo vs. Cruzeiro

The last meeting between these clubs ended in a 1-0 victory for the Tricolor thanks to a goal by Luciano. Curiously, the most recent three games between them, and four of the last five, ended with that result, always in favor of the home side. Cruzeiro has not won away since 2013.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have São Paulo as the favorite. Their Moneyline shows 1.81, Cruzeiro has 4.78, and the draw is at 3.45.

The arrival of Luis Zubeldía was what São Paulo needed to show the level its fans were waiting for, and this weekend, they will not lose their good streak. We’ll go for a 2-0.

Go for a win for São Paulo. If you bet $100 at 1.81, you will gain $81 for a total payout of $181.
