It’s been two weeks since the Brasileirão had to take a break due to the floods. Some teams kept watching action in the Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana, so we have some margin to see their form. The league schedule suffered a complete overhaul, so we must wait and see how the authorities will organize the rest of the season, dealing with a busy summer featuring the Copa América and Paris Olympics.
Now then, we focus on Corinthians and Botafogo, two teams at different ends of the table, but that are, nevertheless, big institutions with plenty of tradition in Brazil.
