This week in MLS brings an entertaining match between two Eastern Conference teams with aspirations when Charlotte FC hosts Inter Miami.

The Princess’ team had a positive streak snapped last weekend when they lost 1-0 to Houston Dynamo.

On the other hand, Inter has not felt the loss of Lionel Messi and has three wins in a row that allowed them to regain the leadership.

Why Bet on Charlotte FC?

Charlotte had been on an excellent rhythm, with three wins and a draw, but lost 1-0 to Houston Dynamo and dropped to sixth place with 32 points. Despite their position in the table, they have an eight-point advantage with the eighth, which would be the team that would take them out of the playoffs, so on that side, they are calm.

The negative point of this team has been the goal-scoring. With 23 goals they are the second lowest scoring team, being only surpassed by New England Revolution (18), second to last in the same conference. Patrick Agyemang is the team’s goal scorer (5), but the return of Polish Karol Swiderski should improve this item. The striker was on loan at Hellas Verona and is now with his national team at the European Championship, although the Italian team tried to keep him, the offer was not enough and he will return to MLS.

But back to the present, Charlotte is a very good home team, the fourth best in the MLS to be more precise. Six wins, four draws, and one loss are their numbers, achieving 22 of the 32 points available in the tournament. The only time they lost at home was on April 21 against Minnesota (0-3).

The good news for coach Dean Smith is that they have no injuries or suspensions for this game.

Why Bet on Inter Miami?

Inter Miami remains at the top of the East and MLS. Thanks to their victory over Nashville (1-2), they reached 44 points, two more than Cincinnati, although the Florida team has one more game.

No Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, or Matias Rojas? No problem. Inter has shown it does not have a dependence on the Argentine striker, winning all three games they have played while their stars are at the Copa América. All have been 2-1.

Gerardo Martino’s side have the best attack in the championship with 48 goals, although 24 of those have come from Messi and Suarez, who will not be present. Leonardo Campana, with five goals, would be the starting striker.

One who has a slim chance of returning is Matias Rojas. The Paraguayan, who arrived in April, had a positive start and could be used if the coach decides so since his participation in the Copa América would end on Tuesday, and he has not played much (only 1 minute and the last game is still to come).

If there is something to worry about at Inter it is the defense. Despite being first they have conceded 30 goals, the most among the top nine teams in MLS. They have six consecutive games conceding goals.

Final Betting Analysis: Charlotte FC vs. Inter Miami

The last time these teams met was on October 21 last year and Charlotte won 1-0 with a goal by Kerwin Calderón Vargas. The record between these two clubs in MLS favors the one of North Carolina with two wins, one draw, and one loss. In addition, they once faced each other in the Leagues Cup and Inter Miami won 4-0.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Charlotte FC as the favorite. Their Moneyline shows 2.03, Inter Miami has 3.38, and the draw is at 3.8.

It will be a great match featuring an Inter Miami that, although they have struggled without Messi, have managed to pull out their games. However, Charlotte has proven to be a strong team at home, so we think it will be a draw. We’ll go for a 1-1.

Go for a draw. If you bet $100 at 3.8, you will gain $280 for a total payout of $380.
