Atlético Mineiro won a transcendental victory to stay in the top part of the Brasileirão, beating Bragantino 2-1 away from home.
The striking thing is that the home team took the lead in the 26th minute with a mid-range shot by Lucas Evangelista. However, the Galo found the parity with Matías Zaracho stealing the ball in a defensive lapse and shooting with precision to the right post (43′). The victory came from Paulinho, who received a long pass from Igor Gomes and beat the goalkeeper with a cross-shot seconds later (45′).
This goal-scoring moment allowed Mineiro to reach 13 points, with a game in hand, while Bragantino was left with 12.
