Brasileirão Matchday 36 – Preview and Free Picks

Last Updated on November 3, 2022 10:29 pm by Erwin Noguera

The Brasileirão keeps going for the final games knowing that Palmeiras is the champion. There will be no more dispute for the title, as coach Abel Ferreira’s team managed to make an incredible league, achieving the first position in the eighth round and remaining there until today.

Juventude is already relegated to the second division, but Avaí is almost in the same way. Ceará, Cuiabá, Atlético Goianiense, and Coritiba fight to stay in the first division, but there are still two more positions to be relegated and they will try to avoid that at all costs.

Internacional is positioned 2nd, but has no more chances for the title, as they lost to América Mineiro last round. The Colorados are in a good place to qualify for next year’s Copa Libertadores, but they will need to win a few games to guarantee that position because 5 more teams are fighting for the top 4 places.

We will check the main games of round 36, showing the best prognosis on each game and providing a detailed analysis of those duels.

São Paulo will visit Fluminense after tying an exciting game against Atlético Mineiro last round. Fluminense beat Ceará, away from home, with another goal from the top scorer Cano and secured the 4th position on the table.

This match will be very important for Fluminense because they are still trying to qualify for next year’s Copa Libertadores. São Paulo has no more aspirations about going to a great international tournament, but they will certainly try to finish the league with honor, chasing better positions at the table.

As they play at home, Fluminense is the favorite for this match by +105 and we think they will beat São Paulo by 3-1.

Internacional lost its last chance to fight for the title when it lost to América Mineiro last round. Mano Menezes’ team needs just a few points to guarantee a spot at next year’s Copa Libertadores. Both Inter and Athletico are among the 6 best teams in the league and this will be a very balanced game.

Our pick is a 1-1 draw at +265.

Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo are still trying to qualify for the international competition (Libertadores). Atlético got a great result against São Paulo last round, while Botafogo was surprised by Cuiabá, frustrating its fans.

Both teams have issues when playing in front of their supporters, reason why Botafogo can have great chances to fight for this game. However, Atlético Mineiro has a much better team, a with odds of -222 we have to go for them.
