Matchday 20 of the Brasileirão just wrapped up last Monday, and it gave us some interesting results, which managed to shake the scoreboards quite a bit in a single week.
Things switched up at the top of the scoreboards, as the currently top 4 teams managed to score points, and even though Botafogo only managed to draw, Palmeiras, Flamengo, and Fluminense made a statement getting victories to launch themselves past the rest of the teams out there.
On the opposite side of the board, Vasco de Gama managed to score a victory, which got them closer to getting out of Relegation, but it was overshadowed by Santos and Bahia, who also got a victory, keeping the same distance they previously had from Vasco.
Another detail to note is that Fortaleza, who is currently in the middle of the table, is becoming dangerous as their current streak starts to unfold, and with 6 points straight up, they are en route to reaching the top spots.
For now, let’s take a good look at what took place in this last matchday of the Brasileirão.

Things were quite competitive but slow at the same time during the first half of this clash.
It was not until Felipe Azevedo managed to score the first goal in the 52nd minute to push America-MG to lead the match that things started getting more intense.
John Kennedy from Fluminense didn’t like to be behind and managed to even the score in the 58th minute.
Not happy with just being tied, Fluminense decided to go all in and scored a second goal on the 65th, and then continued to maintain the lead for as long as possible.
They decided to seal the deal in the 89th when John Arias scored a third and last goal to make sure those 3 points would be going home.

Where can I watch it?
Grêmio decided to start the hostilities early in the 2nd half, as Franco Cristaldo scored the first goal of the match in the 46th minute.
Their lead was quite short-lived, as Santos managed to tie the score when Marcos Leonardo decided enough was enough and hit the net in the 63rd minute.
Things were getting intense as both teams were going at it, but it was Santos’ Julio Fursh who scored a 90th-minute goal to take the lead right in the last stretch, but before Grêmio’s Reinaldo Manoel Da Silva decided to go a little bit too hard getting himself a red card during the added minutes.

Where can I watch it?
Fortaleza was the underdog in this match but they didn’t come to sit, as they went right down to business as soon as the chance opened up.
Thiago Galhardo managed to find the way to the net in the first 15 minutes, scoring a goal to place Fortaleza ahead.
It was all they required, so they immediately switched to the defense to stop the Colorado from getting close to drawing the score.
Internacional didn’t manage to break through, and that allowed Fortaleza to be quite comfortable finding their way to an upset that has allowed them to climb their way up in the scoreboards.
