The goal of the Dourado came in the 82nd minute through Eliel, who had entered the field two minutes earlier, after several rebounds in the area. The ball was left loose and the 21-year-old striker did not hesitate and sent it into the back of the net, thus scoring his first goal for the club.
It’s the second consecutive victory and the third in four games for Cuiabá, which is now 13th with 10 points, while São Paulo cut a 13-game unbeaten streak and is now three games without a win.

Internacional took advantage of being at home to beat Corinthians 1-0 and return to winning after a draw and a defeat. For its part, the Timão remains in the relegation places.
A great goal by Wesley in the 42nd minute was enough for the victory of the Colorado. The midfielder started on the right and closed to the center, and just before entering the area, he made a left-footed shot that went into the corner.
Coudet’s team, which has two games less than its rivals, has 14 points and is in ninth place. However, if they catch up and win their matches, they would be second. On Corinthians’ side, it is a dismal campaign with only one win in ten games. They have three losses and three draws in their last six games.
