Where Can I Watch?
Why Bet on Atlas?
In recent years, Atlas has been one of the strongest teams in Liga MX, becoming two-time champions. However, this has not been the case this semester, after the departure of key players such as strikers Julio Furch and Julián Quiñones.
In their last match, the ‘Rojinegros’ lost 2-0 in their visit to San Luis, the Liga MX leader, and cut short a four-match unbeaten streak, although three of those matches had ended in a draw. With only five goals scored, they are one of the worst teams in terms of scoring, as they have not been able to replace Quiñones. In the entire squad, there is not a single player with two goals.
Atlas has five unbeaten games at home, winning three of those matches.
The only doubt for coach Benjamín Mora is whether he will use his starting goalkeeper, Camilo Vargas, who is coming off two games with the Colombian National Team, including a long trip to Chile.
Why Bet on Tigres?
Tigres is the current champion of Mexico and has made a strong start to the second half of the year, with the intention of revalidating, under coach Robert Siboldi, what was achieved in the first half of 2023.
Although they have just lost a friendly match 2-1 to Club América, their last official match ended with a 5-0 thrashing of Querétaro with goals from Raymundo Fulgencio (2), André Pierre Gignac and Juan Vigón. The ‘Felino’ team is second with 14 points, two behind the leader, but has one of the best offenses, with 15 goals.
On the other hand, Tigres received the good news that the young Marcelo Flores has already been registered and could be taken into account if coach Siboldi decides. This young midfielder was born in Canada, trained at Arsenal in England, and represents the Mexican National Team.
The Monterrey club will be missing Ozziel Herrera, Sebastián Córdova, and Guido Pizarro due to injuries, although the latter has already been able to do some work with the main group.
Final Betting Analysis: Atlas vs. Tigres
Atlas has not started the Liga MX in the expected way and therefore it is expected that it will soon start to recover, but this date, against Tigres, it seems that it will be very difficult. The prediction is for an away win.
The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Tigres as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows +163, meanwhile Atlas has +170 and the draw is +220.
The last meeting between these teams in Guadalajara ended in a 1-0 win for the ‘Felinos’, thanks to a goal by Nicolás Ibañez.
Go for a straight win for Tigres in the Moneyline. If you bet $100 at +179, you will gain $163 for a total payout of $263.
