The Matchday 5 of the Brasileirão left Athletico-PR as leaders but equal on points with Bahia, which had a remarkable away victory over Botafogo.

One of the best matches of the weekend took place at the Kleber José de Andrade stadium, where Fluminense and Atlético Mineiro drew 2-2.

Bragantino missed a great opportunity to make an impact at home and drew 1-1 with Flamengo, one of the most important teams in Brazil and South America. 

Pedro Henrique headed in Gustavo Neves’ corner kick at the far post to score the first goal of the match at 30.’But the Fla got the parity at 79′ when Nicolás De la Cruz found Bruno Henrique with a filtered pass, who defined with a right-footed shot to certify the result.

Palmeiras has not had a start to the campaign worthy of a reigning champion. However, on the last matchday, they were able to beat Cuiabá 2-0 as visitors.
