Tim Tszyu vs. Sebastian Fundora

In one of the most publicized fights so far in 2024, Australian fighter Tim Tszyu, considered the best super welterweight fighter in the world, will fight for the first time at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and his opponent will be American Sebastian Fundora.

Two world titles will be at stake: the vacant World Boxing Confederation (WBC) title and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title that belongs to the Oceania-born fighter.

Both Tim Tszyu and Sebastian Fundora are promoted by No Limit and have Glen Jennings as their manager, so it was a fight that was written to happen.

For Tszyu, this evening will serve to stay at the top of the division, while Fundora should take advantage of the opportunity that fell to him by surprise since the fight was originally scheduled with Keith Thurman, but he withdrew due to a biceps injury.

The fight will be on March 30 and has as co-main event Rolly Romero vs. Isaac Cruz, for the World Boxing Association super lightweight world title.

Why bet on Tim Tszyu?

It is clear that Tim Tszyu, 29, is one of the boxers who generates the most expectation worldwide, thanks to the work he has been doing since his debut in the ring in 2016.

Native of Australia, this boxer can boast to say that he is undefeated in 24 battles. The last of these was against Brian Mendoza in Australia and he had put his WBO super welterweight belt on the line. The victory went to The Soul Taker by unanimous decision.

That’s 24 starts and 24 wins for Tszyu, who has achieved 17 knockouts throughout his career, which has him number one in the world in his category.

Why bet on Sebastian Fundora?

Without expecting it, the young Sebastian Fundora, 22 years old, was presented with one of those opportunities that you can not miss if you want to succeed in a world as difficult as boxing.

The fight that was originally intended for Keith Thurman ended up going to him, due to an injury to the former. Now Fundora can go from having no titles to holding two super welterweight belts.

His last fight was against Brian Mendoza on April 8 and ended in defeat, which for now is the only one of his career.

The Towering Inferno’s record is 20 wins, one knockout loss, and one draw. So far he has been able to win 13 of his fights by knockouts, the last of them on January 5, 2021, against Jorge Cota.

Final Betting Analysis – Tim Tszyu vs. Sebastian Fundora

For the Australian, this will be the second time he fights in the United States, as the rest of his fights were at home. The first time was in 2022, when in Minnesota he defeated Terrel Gausha by unanimous decision of the three judges.

He is not a very tall fighter, as he has a measurement of 1.74 meters, while his reach is 1.79 meters. However, his experience makes him a formidable opponent for anyone.

Fundora has a disadvantage against his opponent and that is that he does not have as much experience in such important nights as the one he will have, however, he has an advantage: his height.

The American is 1.97 meters tall and his reach is 2.03 meters, so a distance fight could be good for him to win.

At Gambyl Exchange we find that Tim Tszyu is the favorite of the match with a Moneyline of 1.135, while Sebastian Fundora has 6.36.

Tszyu’s experience will ensure that he does not disappoint in Las Vegas and will take a win in a long fight by unanimous decision.

Go for a win in Tim Tszyu’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 1.135, you will gain $13 for a total payout of $113.
