This Saturday, we have an interesting event with a headliner clash between two undefeated fighters in the lightweight division, so we are taking a seat at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey to enjoy the show.

This will be a decent event, with 8 fights taking place. Both the co-main event and the main one feature two undefeated fighters. So, inevitably, will lose for the first time in their career.

We are eager to see the 12 rounds match between the American fighter, Shakur Stevenson and the Japanese boxer Shuichiro Yoshino.

There may not be a title on the line in the event, but we are sure that there is going to be plenty of talent and exciting fights on the card, so you do not have to worry about any title here if you are looking for entertainment.

Why Bet on Shakur Stevenson?

Shakur takes a perfect 19-0 professional record into this fight, having beaten Robson Conceicao in the final defense of his world super-featherweight titles in September 2022.

The Southpaw is experienced and his fight record is not overhyped, as he has faced some quality opponents on the way, which makes him a clear favorite coming into this exciting clash.

Why Bet on Shuichiro Yoshino?

Yoshino is ranked number five by the WBC and the former Japanese lightweight champion looks to align his trajectory with securing a future world title opportunity.

He is also undefeated as a pro and barring a draw this weekend, someone’s 0 has got to go.

This is Yoshino’s first time fighting outside of Japan and he will also have to contend with a tremendous amount of partisan support for the hometown darling Stevenson.

Final Betting Analysis – Shakur Stevenson vs. Shuichiro Yoshino

This prizefight is slated for twelve rounds and I do see this one encroaching on that final bell. The speed, fight IQ, and rapid-fire southpaw proclivities of Stevenson will be too much to handle in the end.

The sub-fifty percent finishing rate of Stevenson leads us to believe that his finishing ability will possibly be even more diminished fighting in a heavier-weight division.

Stevenson has arguably fought better-quality opponents, so we expect him to take the decision victory.

Go for Shakur’s win. If you go for a victory for the American at -1250, you could get $8 for a total payout of $108.
