This Saturday Night, we are taking a trip to the Palenque de la Feria in Aguascalientes, Mexico, where we have an exciting five-bout event in which the WBA World Female Super Bantamweight Title will be placed on the line for the co-main event.Â
With five fights in this small but exciting card, we get the most high-profile clash as the co-main event, as the Mexican Champion, Erika Cruz, will be defending her belt against the undefeated Argentinian Challenger, Nazarena Romero.
Things will be extra interesting as the champion, “Dinamita” is a fighter that tends to go all the way in her fights, and the challenger’s results are either full-distance fights or early finishes.
We got a great clash in a place where people get hyped, so once the fighters get to the ring, it is likely to become a war for ten rounds, and we are getting ready to do the breakdown and prepare for it to unfold.

Why Bet on Erika Cruz?
Erika Cruz (17-2, 3 KOs), a local for this fight in Mexico, is a two-division champion. She won the WBA featherweight belt with a technical decision victory over Jelena Mrdjenovich in April 2021.
After doing so, she also made two successful defenses before losing the title to Amanda Serrano in a unification bout in February 2023. Cruz then moved up in weight and defeated Mayerlin Rivas in November to grab the WBA title at 122 pounds.
She is now doing her first defense of that belt.
Why Bet on Nazarena Romero?
Romero, who has a 13-0-1, 7 KOs record, is from Argentina and will be in her second consecutive title challenge. In June, she challenged Rivas for the WBA junior featherweight belt, but thebout ended in a technical draw after Romero, who suffered a cut over her left eye, was unable to continue.Â
She now has another chance at the same belt that Cruz took over from Rivas, and this is bound to be quite an entertaining shot at redemption.
Final Betting Analysis:Â Erika Cruz vs. Nazarena Romero
Even though the challenger is quite a KO machine, we are not expecting this fight to finish early, as Romero was unable to KO Rivas in their previous clash, and Cruz will be a step up in the competition.
When it comes to the technical level and how things run along the fight, we are expecting the Mexican Champion to display why she was able to take over the belt last time by keeping Romero and her power shots at bay.
Things should be entertaining, but we think the result will be a unanimous decision in favor of Erika Cruz for her first title defense in this weight category.
Go for victory for the champion at 1.439. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $43.9 for a total payout of $143.9.
