Why Bet on Devin Haney

The 23-year-old holds a perfect 26-0 record with 15 wins by knockout, which is how he beat Zaur Abdullaev to win the vacant WBC interim title in 2019.

The Dream is a smart fighter with a stiff jab and solid defense.

He’s long for the division as well with a 71-inch reach, seven inches longer than that of his opponent, which should play a major factor in this bout.

He keeps his arms low and tight to the body, using his upper torso to avoid shots without a lot of footwork or head movement.

Why Bet on Joseph Diaz

On paper, this is the toughest test for Haney.

A young prime Diaz will come to fight and this is only the second time in his career he’s been installed as the betting underdog.

His record stands at 32-1-1 with 15 victories coming by way of knockout, though he has only one win in that fashion over his last eight fights.

JoJo typically has a high guard, walking forward and getting into a phone booth to brawl.

At times, Diaz loads up on big strikes from long distances and then will flurry.

Final Betting Analysis: Devin Haney vs. Joseph Diaz

‘JoJo’ will try to put the pressure on Haney, by aiming to rough him up in the early rounds.

This will be a great opportunity for Haney to showcase his skills and patience and out skill ‘JoJo.

While ‘JoJo’ isn’t old, it seems that Haney is on the way in while ‘JoJo’ is on the way out.

He’s coming off a controversial win over Javier Fortuna and a debatable draw to Shavkat Rakhimov.

The margin for error won’t be as forgiving as Devin Haney, and that is the reason our betting token is on “The Dream”.
