This Saturday, we are having a change in an expected fight card taking place at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. At first, we were expecting the rematch from an old fight, between Claressa Shields and Hanna Gabriels, but after Gabriels tested positive for a Banned Substance within a week of the clash, Maricela “La Diva” Cornejo comes in on short notice to challenge for the Undisputed Female Middleweight Title.

We are focusing on the main event, which will put these two fighters in the middle of the spotlight for 10 rounds, as both American-born female boxers entertain the crowd as they try to walk out of the ring with all the belts in their possession.

Claressa Shields will return to the ring for the first time since beating Savannah Marshall. Now she takes on Maricela Cornejo this weekend.

The GWOAT managed to beat her great rival in London to claim the WBA, IBF, WBC, and WBO middleweight titles, and she will put them all on the line.

The 28-year-old is still undefeated in her professional career and will be confident of seeing off Cornejo before setting up a rematch against Marshall.
