Spring Training March 29th: Phillies vs. Yankees

The Philadelphia Phillies had a 6–3 spring training performance and gained three of their previous five matches, including a 6–5 victory against the Toronto Blue Jays and a draw versus Pittsburgh in a five-inning match on the road.

Philadelphia’s sole loss in those five came against Detroit, which they lost 14–8.

The Yankees‘ other significant offensive change came earlier this month when they acquired shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa and third baseman Josh Donaldson in a five-player trade with the Twins.

Ben Rortvedt, the backstop, was also part of the deal, although he is unable to swing a bat since joining his new squad owing to a persistent oblique ailment.

The New York Yankees have a 3–6 spring practice record and dropped three of their past five matches, including a seven-inning game against Detroit that was canceled due to weather.

Despite sweeping three of their previous five matches, the Philadelphia Phillies gave up a total of 30 runs, while the New York Yankees’ pitching rotation gave up 36.

Our betting token is on the New York Yankees.

Spring Training March 29th: Padres vs. Giants

The Giants come in with 3 victories so far in their preseason run, having beaten the Angels, Rockies, and White Sox.

They have, however, lost 7 matches, and most have not looked good.

The San Diego Padres, on their side, come in looking a little stronger, having won 4, lost 4, and tied 2 so far.

The Padres are looking to keep their momentum going after yesterday’s close victory over the White Sox.

Our betting token stays with the Padres for this match.

Spring Training March 29th: Mets vs. Marlins

The Mets have a record of 5-3 and are entering this match with two straight wins.

The team won over the St. Louis Cardinals last Sunday to a score of 7-3.

New York delivered 33 at-bats, 7 runs, 12 hits, 7 RBIs, and 3 walks. Tomas Nido cranked a homer in the second inning while 1B Pete Alonso and CF Travis Jankowski scored apiece.

SS Francisco Lindor homered twice in the game.

The Miami Marlins, on the other hand, are sitting on a 6-3 record.

The Marlins won over the Washington Nationals last Monday to a score of 8-1.

Miami delivered 35 at-bats, 8 runs, 8 hits, 8 RBIs, and 4 walks.

CF Jon Berti homered in the fourth inning while SS Joey Wendle, 1B Garrett Cooper, and DH Jazz Chisholm Jr. scored apiece.

RF Griffin Conine and SS Ray-Patrick Elijah Didder cranked a homer each in the ninth inning.

Although both teams are coming off with a great victory, New York is playing better than Miami this preseason.

The Mets will be sending a solid pitcher to the mound on Tuesday.

This will help the team secure a good win.
