Manchester City and Leicester gave a close game to their fans this early Saturday, which wasn’t very entertaining but left interesting results in the tactical analysis. Tottenham came to this game after a couple of damaging results and the team mentality was clearly out of place. The team from the south coast managed to be 2-0 up at one moment but Sessegnon, Davies, and Bentancur achieved an impressive comeback.
Tottenham’s problems are not only in defense. Harry Kane has been his usual goal-scoring self, but Son Heung-Min is having a serious sting of irregularity as he is unplayable in one game, and completely disappears in the other. With Kulusevsky and Richarlyson Injured, the Spurs don’t have enough rotation options to give a rest to the Korean start.
