Where Can I Watch?
Why Bet on the Rangers?
The Texas Rangers have not squandered the momentum from eliminating the Tampa Bay Rays in the wild card, as they are now destroying the Baltimore Orioles.
The last game at Camden Yards ended 11-8 for Texas, with a magical performance by designated hitter Mitch Garver, who hit a grand slam, drove in a total of five runs and gave up two hits.
Corey Seager collected an impressive five-base on balls and scored two runs, while Leody Taveras drove in two runs and scored two more.
The offense responded to a four-inning, nine-hit, five-score outing by Jordan Montogomery, while the relievers were not entirely fortunate either, as Brock Burke and Jose Leclerc allowed the Orioles to get through the batter’s box.
Overall, Seager is on fire when it comes to hitting .417. But there’s also Evan Carter, who is averaging .500.
Veteran manager Bruce Bochy chose experienced pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, who had a monumental outing against the Rays. He won his game, left his ERA at 1.35, and struck out eight opponents.
Eovaldi, a 2018 World Series champion, has a lifetime postseason ERA of 2.90 with 49.2 innings pitched. That’s five wins and three losses in 12 appearances.
Why Bet on the Orioles?
The Baltimore Orioles started as great candidates to fight for the American League title after winning the toughest division of the ‘Young Circuit’, the East, with a record of 101 wins and 61 losses.
But they have not responded so far, especially at the pitching level. In the last 11-8 loss to the Rangers, the designated starter was Grayson RodrÃguez, who only pitched 1.2 innings. He gave up five runs with six hits, a real nightmare at this level of baseball.
Four more relievers ended up being scored upon by Texas, which sealed the fact that Baltimore must now win the three remaining games in the series to try to qualify for the American League Championship Series.
Offensively, two names stand out for now: Gunnar Henderson and Aaron Hicks. The former scored three runs and gave up two hits, while the latter towed five teammates. Austin Hays also stands out, averaging .429.
But to look for the epic, the Orioles need more from Anthony Santander, who went 5-0 in his last start. He is currently batting .250.
To try to avoid elimination Baltimore will have Dean Kremer as their starter. Kremer had a 13-5 record on the season, with a 4.12 ERA and 1.31 WHIP.
Final Betting Analysis: Orioles vs. Rangers
Few expected the series to go to Texas with a 2-0 lead for the Rangers, but that’s how it happened. Bochy’s team has been on a hell of a roll and will win the series in front of their home crowd, sweeping the American League’s top contender.
The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Rangers as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows -135, meanwhile, the Orioles have +120.
A fact to keep in mind is that in the regular season, Baltimore won two of three games at the home of the Texas Rangers.
Go for a win in the Rangers’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -135, you will gain $74 for a total payout of $174.
