The practice sessions for the Hungarian GP 2023 have started today and the teams are already starting to put together their main strategies to win in this difficult circuit. With more than four thousand three hundred meters of track, the Hungaroing is known as one of the least exciting circuits in Formula 1, because it does not have many overtaking points.
The winner of the 2022 edition was Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who started 10th and finished first after a huge amount of effort and intelligence. None of the drivers has ever managed to win this circuit two years in a row due to the difficulty of the track, which does not bring emotion and does not allow for bold strategies. Verstappen could be the first to achieve the feat of winning at this circuit in two consecutive years.
Charles Leclerc got the best time in the second free time test at the Hungarian circuit, which had Max Verstappen in 11th place, as his team limited themselves to doing a few laps on the track.
Verstappen and his team (RBR) lead the current season’s ranking and understand that they need to overcome the Hungarian Grand Prix to get even closer to the title. Sérgio Perez (RBR) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) are just behind in the standings, with 156 and 137 points, respectively.

Where can I watch it?
Hungarian GP 2023 – Favorite – Max Verstappen
Birthplace: Hasselt, Belgium
Age: 25
Actual position: 1º
GP Won (2023): 8
Max Verstappen won 8 of the 10 races of the year and took second place at the other two circuits. His team, RBR, won all 10 races – Sergio Pérez was the winner in the GPs where the man form Belgium was second.
Everything is in favor of another victory for Verstappen. He climbed to the top of the podium last year and could make history if he wins here for the second consecutive year.
Some bookmakers are not offering the option to choose Max Verstappen as the winner of this Hungarian circuit. His victory is already taken for granted. He could reach his seventh straight victory in the current season in Formula 1.
If you put $100 on Verstappen’s win, you could get $35 out of a total payout of $135.
