The NBA is getting better and better and the teams are giving us spectacular games every day. This Friday, March 4, the big game of the night was Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks, which did not disappoint. It was a give and take from the start of the game, many spectacular plays, and where the Bulls once again demonstrated their inability to beat big teams.
Milwaukee won the game with a score of 112-118 to tie the Bulls for third place in the East (39-25 both teams), surpassed only by Miami and Philadelphia.
The game was even from the beginning, but with the Bucks having a little more idea and with more hunger for victory than the Bulls.
First Quarters
In this first quarter, we saw an interesting duel between Bobby Portis of the Bucks and Zach LaVine of the Bulls, who each scored 10 points to lead their teams. This first quarter ended with a score of 25-25.
In the second quarter, we saw how the Bulls continued to play the same way, with a very cold game, with little defense and an offense that seemed not to wake up. While the Bucks relied on Antetokounmpo and Middleton, who scored 10 points each, for their team to take the victory in this quarter and go ahead on the scoreboard with a 57-53.
Last Two Quarters
The third quarter was the awakening of the Bulls in the game. The locals managed to display a very good defense, combined with an exceptional attack again with LaVine and now with DeRozan who scored 22 of the Bulls’ 35 points in the third quarter.
On the Bucks side, neither player managed to do much damage offensively speaking, nor did Giannis, who finished with 9 points.
Thanks to this, the Bulls arrived with an 88-81 advantage at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
In the last quarter, the Bucks point guard, Jrue Holiday, was the king of the game, as he managed to score 16 points, grab 5 rebounds, and had 1 block. While for the Bulls, they had no alternatives with the excellent defensive display that the Bucks put forward.
The definition was exciting. With the score at 109-114, LaVine hit a three-point shot to put the game 112-114 with 24.4 seconds left, but the local pressure on the visiting kick-off caused a mismatch that Middleton took advantage of to give a pass from court to court for the basket by Jevon Carter, who was alone.
Thus the victory was 118-112 for the Bucks in their visit to Chicago.
