Why Bet on Amir Khan
Khan hasn’t been in action for over two years, having the last beat Billy Dib in a farcical fight back in the summer of 2019.
Before that he lost a world title fight at welterweight against pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford, who he’s now training with in Nebraska ahead of his clash with Brook.
Fighting for another world championship seems to be out of reach for Khan at this stage in his career.
Why Bet on Kell Brook
Brook last fought against Terence Crawford in November 2020, when Bud stopped Special K in the fourth round of their Las Vegas match-up.
Brook has not been a world champion since he lost his IBF welterweight world title to Errol Spence Jr. in May 2017.
At 35-years-old, it does not seem likely for Brook to be in a position to fight for another world championship.
Final Betting Analysis: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook
The stakes are high for the two fighters.
While victory secures long-brewing bragging rights and perhaps the shot at another payday or two, defeat potentially puts a full stop to whoever should come off second best.
Brook is not as fast as Khan, but he has a stiff jab and more power than Khan.
It will be difficult for Khan to outbox Brook, so his best path to victory will be to blitz Brook inside the pocket.
Brook will fight on the outside and stick and move on Khan.
Since this is a grudge match, anything can happen when there is true hatred between two boxers.
We expect this to be a close fight that Brook (our betting pick), edges Khan out by a narrow decision.
