The Mayor League Baseball is about to start a new season, and we couldn’t be more eager to see how things are going to be. We had a chaotic off-season, and there is only one thing clear heading into the new season: everyone else is chasing the reigning World Series champions.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking pretty strong as they start this campaign, and it seems like most of the other teams will be playing catch-up if things remain at this pace.

Our current bet is placed on the Atlanta Braves being the biggest threat to the reign of the Dodgers, and we are all in for it to happen, as it will keep things really exciting if there is a fight at the top of the board.

Another team that might have a shot this time around is the Phillies, as the team tends to reach the playoffs, but things could mix up as we go into the first week of what we hope is an exciting MLB season.

The Phillies are coming into the season as such as strong team that we are low-key feeling a little bad for the Nationals, who will have to endure a bad start to the season if the Philladelphia squad brings as much as 50% of the level they are capable of playing into the opening day match.

Nevertheless, it will be quite an entertaining game, and we expect the visitors to get a win as they will try to keep the defending champions on their toes.

The Braves will be a great team once again this season. The injury bug caught them at a terrible time last year, and as a result, they were short-handed for the post-season.

Now, as they get ready to start a new season facing the Padres at their home field, we expect the Braves to make it to the playoffs once again and win the NL East Division.

The Padres were playing great baseball before they collapsed against the Dodgers in the NL Division Series last season. However, we don’t believe they will have a hot start here, but they are likely to get into good form over time.

It’s hard to take what you see in spring training at face value. At the same time, it’s impossible to ignore how dominant Holmes looked this spring as he transitioned from reliever to starter.

The ultimate test for Holmes will come when he takes the ball for the Mets on Opening Day against an Astros lineup that is a bit weaker than it was in 2024 but still strong enough to give them a tough time.

We expect the Mets to have great results in the early part of the season, and it all starts with this match with the Astros.

This is going to be a great match for opening Day in Los Angeles, as this upcoming clash pits a young team, who had quite the surprising path to the post-season in 2024, as they go in against a juggernaut in the early stages of defending its World Series title.

The Tigers, who reached the post-season for the first time in a decade last year, and the Dodgers, the reigning champions who haven’t missed the playoffs since 2012, are going to bring in some excellent energy for the start of the season, but we believe the Home team will get the win.
