MLB August 8th – Betting Lines and Free Picks

This week we continue with the MLB calendar, and we arrive with some shifts that turned around the top of the scoreboards.

One of the teams that were fighting for the top leaped ahead; meanwhile, the other 3 just entered a dogfight as they all tied for second. 

Last week’s 2nd place decided to take over, with 8 victories during their week, the Los Angeles Dodgers have landed at the top and made a huge leap ahead of the competition with now 75 wins and 33 losses.

The previous leaders just had a slow week, and have now been caught up by the two teams that sat in 3rd and 4rth last week.

The New York Yankees, the Houston Astros, and the New York Mets are all at 70 wins and 39/40 losses, basically tied for second and trying to catch up to the Dodgers, so things are going to get extra spicy this week.

August 8th week MLB Series: Dodgers – vs. Twins and Royals.

The Dodgers are going to have a fun week, with a little bit of a challenge, but after the steamroll they made to achieve first place, they are more than prepared to continue going forward.

The Twins are going to be the tough opposition for the Dodgers this week, but then they should be able to handle it and then run through the Royals right after.

This week, we expect the Mariners to come in confident and continue to put the Yankees in trouble before they pick the pace up and manage to fend off a strong opponent in the Cardinals.

The Astros are set up to continue pushing forward this week, as they are going to face two other teams in the AL West, which they currently have led for quite some time.

The Rangers and the Athletics will serve as a good distraction for the week as they pick up some more victories and take over the second spot.

The Mets are also going to have a fun week, as they try to take over second place, coming in with a great run in their last two series.

This should be an exciting push for the Mets as they go forward.
