The LMB calendar is about to finish the regular season, as today, July 25th, we have to start with the last 4 weeks before playoffs begin.
All teams are working towards doing their best and getting the last points they can to get as close to the top of the scoreboard.
In the last two weeks, there has been another shift in the top of the scoreboards, as a fourth team managed to get close and now has taken the top 3 spots.
The defending champions, Toros de Tijuana have held on to the helm of the score table, now with 53 wins and 25 losses so far.
The Tecolotes de Dos Laredos, who were on top before Tijuana took over, currently sit in second at 48 wins and 26 losses.
Close behind, we get the Acereros de Monclova, who climbed over to the 3rd spot, with 45 wins and 30 losses, and are fighting with Sultanes de Monterrey for that spot, as Monterrey has 46 wins and 32 losses on their record.
Now, this Tuesday marks the start of a more interesting series that could cause some of the final shifts in the scoreboard.

July 26-28 MLB Series: Toros de Tijuana vs. Aguila de Veracruz
The leaders have been doing wonders whenever they are seen on the field, and this season they managed to not only re-capture the lead but then just dive far ahead from the rest of the teams.
Veracruz, however, is not having such a great season so far, with 37 wins and 40 losses, we think they will not be a hard match for Veracruz.

Tigres shouldn’t be too much of a trouble, but it will be good for all major teams to practice with.

Acereros de Monclova surprisingly managed to climb to the 3rd spot, now with a record of 45 wins and 30 losses and trying to make a statement late in the season.
They should have an easy time this week, as Oaxaca is currently at 31 wins and 47 losses, and should not be a difficult team to beat and even crush this week.
